Looking at the crowd there it's giving me a thought. Like they're pretending to be Christian but not really in the same way that some people pretend with good intentions for their family or something. (If you can call it good pretending)

When I say not really in the same way it's because the feel I get from looking at the crowd, it seems like they're coming from the same place as a shitlib hipster doing some kind of weird hipster shit (countersignalling?) the same as the ones who would say "Oh yeah, I like country music, Dolly is great! so is Johnny Cash, he did that NIN song! Did you see Dolly's trans-awareness show a couple nights ago? Was LIT AF!" Or alternatively another example, I live in Oklahoma, there's these expensive ballcaps that say "Okie" if you see someone wearing one there are a few possibilities what type of person they are and if they're the countersignaling george floyd-loving type it's immediately obvious. PS. I want to take out a 60k loan for a restored Chevy C10 (its boxy AF!!) do you think it will be ok in the open parking of my lofts?

Sometimes I find things on Reddit that genuinely bother me. I was thinking of buying an Apple Watch and stumbled across this:

Hey guys so my mom and dad monitor my sleep through my Apple watch. It started when I joined my middle school hockey team in 6th grade. But now my coach has real time stats on my step goals, readiness level, sleep score, stamina, blood oxygen level, workout routine and stress levels. My parents have access to this data and I feel like they use it to manipulate me. What do you think is it an invasion of privacy or do they just have my best interest in mind.

Is this something parents are actually doing with their kids now? Because that's creepy as fuck. It's fascinating when Reddit sometimes provides you a glimpse into how fucked up someone else's life is.

But seriously, I expected this to have more support from redditors. I always thought r/science was the melting pot for the most soy users on the site. It seems like even these chronic redditors are sick of the janny boot on their neck. At a quick glance, the comments are negative or apathetic at best. When chatgpt first broke mainstream, I told my friends it was going to be used to censor the internet on a level we haven't seen before. They called me tinfoil. Now they are training moderator bots based on one of the biggest echochambers on the internet. Next they just need to get their technocrat friends using it, then have a mass shooter be active on a site which doesn't use it. Have the mothers of the victims cry infront of the US Congress about how much we need censorship to fight wrong think, then bam*. Every site will be required to have reddit-trained censorship bots else the websites be held liable for everything posted. Welcome to the dystopia of your own making technocrats.

There is a book entitled "Against the Protestant Gnostics." Expensive, but worth a buy and a read if this is a field of interest for you.

Rap is how i first learned about 5 percenters. Many of the NY underground rappers from the 1999 - 2004 Golden Era pick it up in their tracks, most notably Vordul Megallah (the name is already peak 5%er, he changed it to Vordul Mega later on) from Cannibal Ox. Shyheim is another example from the top of my head but there are tons of others, small surprise since all these beliefs had their start in different NY hoods.

Edit: That is pretty much exclusively what i listened to back then and still do.

I just wanna take a moment to point out the insanity of the presentation of this article here, headed by a photo of a sad person hunched over in a corner.

It says "Look at these poor nazis. They are trying to subjugate people, but in the process often have to - *gasp* - witness opinions that differ from their own. Now, finally, they will be spared this horrible trauma and get to force their will upon others without having to deal with such inconveniences."

Orwell wishes he had thought of this. Even the workers at the Ministry of Truth weren't so evil as to complain about having to witness opinions they don't agree with as they censor them in a systematic manner.
