I've actually heard a few people say something similar even though I'd not call them full blown redditors. Reddit-lite at worst. A fresh generation of cat ladies.. continues to just be cat ladies.
 
I think it's really really funny that zoomer and millennial women are re creating the boomer/gen X cat lady archetype except where those women were too gross/mentally ill to be fuckable these women are doing it on purpose for really dumb and misguided political reasons.
 
I've said this before somewhere, but seriously, around the time of the '03 Gulf War, a bunch of leftie chicks started putting on productions of Lysistrata, and ever since then there's been this meme working its way into their thinking about how if they just refuse to fuck men it's some insane punishment that'll change the world.

They don't seem to understand that a lot of men would view the left en masse denying pussy as a great way to avoid sticking your dick in crazy by accident.

I mean, we really should be encouraging shitty people not to breed anyways.

My abortion stance is kind of like that Larry David meme where he shrugs and isn't really sure whether he got what he wants.

Yeah, abortion is reprehensible because so many thots use it as a mulligan, but toxic men and women not having kids is probably better for humanity overall.

Yeah that's a solid way to explain part of my feelings on the subject, it's such a complicated one that its not so easily discussed (also this thread doesn't need to turn into ANOTHER Abortion Slugging Match). What flummoxes me isn't that they are now making these statements but they're acting as if all of this is some sort've new information or problem.

No matter if you have the ability to abort a child or not it will have an effect on your body, it will have an effect on your mind, it will have an effect on those in your relationship. It's nothing to be done lightly.. and its one of the big responsibilities that comes with being an adult. If you aren't willing to take the chance of having kids.. don't have sex. This was a lesson that was told to me so many times by so many sources (including public schooling) that it baffles me that they're acting like this is some sort've horrible turn.

That's always been how it has been, you must be responsible for your actions and risks taken. Even if you get your tubes tied or soldered there will always remain a possibility, a tiny to be sure but still there, that a child could be produced. They're acting like the overturning of Roe v Wade will change the fabric of reality.

lol no lad, people do this regularly with IT support staff because they know the average support monkey likes getting patted on the head for doing his job and they're easier to work with when they're happy. You're not getting laid as a sysadmin just for doing your job well. For all their supposed expertise on all things Science(PBUH), none of these stupid slags seem to know about things like tubal ligation and hysterectomy. Especially if you're "terrified of ever becoming pregnant," why bother with an unsatisfying and useless protest (men won't beg you for sex while you lord over them in smug superiority; they'll go fuck your hotter, sluttier friends and you'll just wind up a lonely spinster) when you can go get your tubes tied and hop right back onto the cock carousel?

So, there's this thing on Reddit, /r/sleeplesswatchdogs and /r/thewritersblackout which is a bunch of Redditors from the shitty creepypasta subreddits like /r/nosleep ganging together to copystrike creepypasta narrators who narrate their content without permission. Now, I understand that having someone narrate your shit without permission and making money off of it is undeniably sleezy, but something about this situation feels really silly to me.

You're already posting it for free! Like, a lot of people complaining about it aren't having their stories published except for the free medium of Reddit and Reddit reserves the right to use content from their website for profit, by posting it on /r/nosleep you've already basically waved your rights to it! Without the narration, a lot of these works would slip into effective unexistence as they never received any attention from Redditors to begin with. And, quite frankly, most of these scary stories are shit anyways. The posters talking about this never seem like that good of story creators to begin with, so when I see otherwise subpar content demanding what seems like overpayment for their content. Feeding into this is the /r/thewritersblackout group that definitely seems to be literally just focusing on the money when their official policy regarding small channels is that they don't make enough money for them to give a shit.

It might just be me, but if somebody dredged my shit I've written from fimfiction.net or bigblackcockstories.com and narrated it, I'd be OK with it because it would all my works that otherwise would never have received creative attention get out there and receive some. Sorry for the off-the-rails rambling, but I am curious to other people's takes on this, and whether I'm just being unreasonably anti-Reddit on this.
