They're on a subreddit where they tell each other that watching detransition videos is a form of self harm. I don't feel sorry for these people. They spread their harm around too much for me to feel sorry for them anymore.

All telling people to get vaccinated, which is more likely to kill them than the disease that they're not even being protected against. (Fda / israel numbers don't lie... yet).

Youre right of course. However these trans kids and teenagers are going to live a life of irreversible suffering because they have been used by AGP adult men to as a tool to normalise their kinks, and by progressives to gain social credit.

Both of those groups will change uniform as soon as their cause stops serving them and these kids, by then adults, will be faced with reality for the first time in their lives. Society will then have to keep this cohort on life support because we no longer make difficult decisions about life and death.

So i do feel sorry for them, but resent the fact that those shouting about marginalised groups on twitter today are creating a future that will be worse on those groups, and theyre doing it just to enhance their status.

I took my shots too, but I'm in the same boat as you. You shouldn't be taking away people's fundamental rights to live their lives because they don't want to inject experimental vaccines into themselves. Ironically, if they'd gotten the maximum vaccination saturation they were going to get and then gone back to normal, a whole bunch of people would have gotten COVID and gained acquired immunity. Sure, maybe it would mutate as RNA viruses tend to do... make it a flu-shot-like booster then, since there is ample evidence the vaccines reduce the seriousness of infection by variants.

I guarentee you, if the government and the media hadn't sperged out about "muh vaccinations", 10%+ more people would have taken it. They very stupidly made it a political issue, and now you have a whole host of antiauthoritarian boomers joining the Jenny McCarthy style antivaxxer soccer moms they would have never associated with under other circumstances.

I'm a fat fuck in my late 30s, I have a small risk of dying from Covid, but I have an even smaller risk of dying from the vaccine, so I took the vaccine. If I were 19 and fit, I probably wouldn't have been in a rush to get the vaccine.

The FDA numbers, as well as Israel numbers show that taking the vaccine is riskier than not taking it. For every vaccine covid life saved there are 5 vaccine caused deaths from clots and heartattacks. And that is with the fingers on the scale in favor of vaccines.

But they're managing to start counting all vaccine deaths as covid deaths. Every new booster means more deaths, means more need for boosters.

Cool. Well when we're taking about people under 50, Covid kills one in like 50,000 people who get it, so if taking the vaccine is five time worse, I guess that makes it about as risky as riding a bicycle.

I wouldn't mind seeing that data if you wouldn't mind linking it. That seems extreme, considering we have vaccines for lots of things and they don't have a side effect profile like that. We have flu shots every year and no one loses their mind about those, not to mention MMR, Meningitis and Tetanus shots as you grow up--I can't imagine this is orders of magnitude more dangerous than those shots, but I could be wrong.

I admit, I'm about as skeptical of all the people online claiming they've gotten tourette's or some sort of weird palsy from the vaccine as I am about all the people claiming they're librasexual or whatever the gender of the week is, but I'm open to changing my mind.

My experience with them made me feel like I got shot in the arm after my first dose, then my second dose gave me flu-like symptoms for three days. I hadn't particularly planned on getting it, also being a healthy young person myself, but then I found out I had to travel overseas for work. Plus it made my mom feel better, I guess.

all of these are old, regular vaccines that consist of inactivated/weakened pathogens, they work by familiarizing your body with the disease so your immune system can develop countermeasures to it.
the covid stuff is inherently different, it's an mRNA vaccine, that means it contains synthetic RNA (ribonucleic acid, related to the DNA in your own cells) which enters your body cells and alters their function in a way that makes them more resistant to the covid virus' mode of attack.
these covid vaccines are the first mRNA vaccines in history to be used on the population, prior to 2020 this whole technology basically only existed inside biochem research laboratories.

my point is, it's a fundamentally different type of vaccine so comparing it to historical vaccines of the past doesn't work very well

The mRNA vaccines do not work by altering your DNA or cell functions to protect them from the virus. The mRNA tells your cells to build the spike protein found in coronavirus, which your immune system then attacks, thus having the same familiarization effect of the regular vaccines. Potential side effects could come from the mRNA, the spike proteins, or your immune system‘s reaction to either of them.
