White knights are often creeps, either to adult women or children. I don’t think it’s a matter of pretending to hate what they like, it’s rather a fixation on what they desire. In their twisted, sicko minds, they become so fixated on women and/or children that they dehumanize them. White knighting is a symptom of dehumanization. Hatred can be another symptom. It depends on many psychological factors. There are patterns, but it’s not a single template.

This is kind of gay but The Silence of the Lambs is pretty much the perfect film for showing how various men, from literal psychos to typical ‘old guy who hits on you,’ ultimately end up dehumanizing women (to varying degrees) and what behaviors come out of that.

There is a difference between hating kids and avoiding kids. Hating would mean like you'd want them off your lawn by grabbing a gun and shooing them away with it. The latter would be like "I avoid you, you avoid me" sort of deal.

People who like lolicon, or are at least the "internet coomer" variant tend to lean in hard to the "hehe spider fucker" argument. I'll be generous in saying its the "don't censor porn" camp. But it's insane how quickly the uno reverse card is pulled.

Kinda outta left field, but is he maybe questioning his gender? A lot of transwomen really regret not getting to have a lets say promiscuous teenage/young adult life as their desired gender. They sometimes act that out later in life as adults, which might explain why he is specifically using an underage girl as his profile.
