Honselty I find reddit to be very offer towards just any person with different views than them. For instance if you question the vaccine they call you a conspiracy theorist. yet they have no right. They belive in almost every negative story about Trump with out fucking question!!!

They say cancel culture isn't real. But they view everyone who they don't like to be shunned form society pretty much.

But even reading different threads just to be entertain gets tiring as the comments become more hateful towards people they don't like.

I only look at hobby subs and my local sub, the local sub is just completely complaining about how much they hate hicks and republicans and kids. Every other thread is "republican _title_ did this" never anything about leftist pols, praising them or praising something they did that redditors would like.

Even when you take their politico-religion out of the equation it's still just complaining, maybe something about a restaurant? there will be plenty there for sure about the owner may be a trump supporter, may not have donated to BLM, NO ONE WEARS MASKS!! ignore all that and it's still just complaining.

It's sorta like complaining is their personality and makes them seem smart and opinionated. His OP makes a fair general point; when people have means they will behave faithfully to their character, but should they lose their means they will behave more charitably; as they themselves seek charity. A shame that such a point should go wasted on such a shallow man.

Is this a rebranded incel sub? How long has it been up? I suppose reddit is not opposed to incel behavior just so long as it is framed correctly, but it's surprising to see nonetheless.

I live in a blue collar city (think like Detroit but in a different country) so the real goldmine is Facebook groups as the lack of education among the population born and raised here is super apparent. There are massive tent cities that rival Skid Row in L.A. and downtown Vancouver - that's why the topic of homelessness comes up often across any forum regarding this city.

The ones on reddit seem to mostly be college educated and really hate the lower income population. There are four mods and I can tell that only one actively moderates the subreddit and is so active on Reddit she is posting to various subs almost all day everyday. She is also an ex-pat of the UK and only reposts news articles from local blogs and newspapers. It is nearly impossible to post to the sub and not have your post removed for some reason. I was banned otiginally for referring to a police report where they described someone as brown.

I was banned again, which triggered my entire account being banned, but 30 minutes later another mod responded to my message with the reasoning behind why my post was removed (because they had not been made aware I was banned at all). So basically a reddit jannie has taken over my city's subreddit and is using it to power trip mostly blue collar people on the down low.

Ironically I just browsed the sub because of her aggregating local news instead of visiting four different websites.
