Video wasn't as funny as I wished it to be

I'll put the blame on neckbeard Josh for too many deep cut questions and not many funny ones. It was Jay's moment to shine and he looked lost most of the time, just compare it to Mike's performance in the Star Trek one where he was quick as a gunslinger and even had extra trivia to go with every answer.

I hope the next one is some kind of bizarre Star Wars trivia, where most of the questions are about the sequels/the expanded universe stuff. Here's hoping for the return of Woodoo Hide™.

Being dead reminds me of an episode of Star Trek - Mike Stoklasa's tombstone, the future

We all know what it's actually gonna say

I think Josh is my least favorite beard fat on the show, but I absolutely agree he is better in things where he doesn't have to riff with his own crappy brand of nonmedy. He did okay in the Lynch trivia show, and does very well on re:view.

Unfortunately, I think most of his personality is based on knowing a lot of trivia, and I can't say that's annoying because that's the main trait of all the RLM boys. I think he just sucks at making quick jokes about poop or aids, the primary ingredient in RLM youtubes.

That being said, I would trade Jack for Josh pretty quickly for BOTW if I had to pick my Twitter blue checkmark. Jack makes me groan sometimes but I like the system of check and balances with his upbeat style

Prequel nerds annoy me.

Ok, you don't want to go straight for the main city. You can still land closer than THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PLANET. Do you morons not know how big a PLANET is??

The equivalent on Earth would be the USA saying, "Oh we want to invade Afghanistan. Can't risk those anti-air batteries. Let's land all our forces at South Africa and march the rest of the way."

I just don't understand their mindset. I never did. I get that George Lucas had some good ideas and tried his best, but that's participation trophy thinking.

It's so weird how they think RLM brainwashed everyone. The prequels split the fandom in half in 1999 and RLM was just saying what 50% of the fans were thinking at the time.

Yeah I've even pointed out in the Star Wars thread that there's even more errors in the film that RLM missed.

I get being tired of hearing the same complaints over and over, but don't try arguing that it's somehow perfect because of outside material.

I mean I love Tenet to death, but I'll admit it has a sound mixing problem and the whole painting bit could maybe have been better done. (Not the steal sequence, just how it fits in the plot.)

All RLM did was elevate the criticism of the prequels.
Before the Plinkett reviews people were mostly only picking on the obvious faults like the stupid kid and Jar Jar.

Their first Star Wars review came out a decade after the movie. People were singing George Lucas raped my childhood years before that.

I was meaning to discuss that infamous phrase.
It was hyperbole then. George Lucas didn't set out to hurt anyone.

But the phrase really rings true these days. Kathleen Kennedy and her lackeys intentionally did things to hurt the longtime fans.

If someone these days unironically said The Last Jedi or whatever "raped their childhood", I would no longer cringe.

It was already thoroughly raped by the prequels and was already damaged goods at that point.
So I really don't get how people are that upset by the new trilogy being shit too.
