Rich is too much of an arrogant jerk when he's not RLM's mascot, unfortunately. I've seen far too many Previously Recorded streams to think otherwise now.

Well, this one is long, but it was one of the times I hated Rich the most. (Of course I'd watch this; not because I like this game but because I want RLM to actually give Berserk a chance. Just a shame they had to use this awful game as their intro.)

I don't know if you can make it through, but it's peppered all throughout. He's correct about how shallow Musou gameplay is, but he's also lumping in the source material with it. He's so insanely narrow minded when it comes to things he's already decided on, he actively tries to piss off the people who do like it, etc. It's completely unwarranted, really, but that's Rich at his core.

Watching PreRec streams (especially the early bloodbourne ones) showed me that Rich Evans is spoony with an annoying laugh and less hair fite me.

A better example would be the Bloodlines stream.
It was meant as a big fuck you to idiots constantly recommending the same games they had no interest in.
But they failed to make it entertaining at all.
They struggle to get it to run for an hour. And when they finally got it to run, Rich can't even manage it past the tutorial while he constantly whines about it.

Two hours of misery for everyone involved just to shut some people in chat up.

You're not wrong. Rich couldn't play and talk at the same time. Jack tried too hard to fill the silence left by Rich. By hour 3, most of their streams devolved into Jack singing to himself while Rich quietly played FTL for the millionth time.

There are highlights. Jay streams were good. Canadian streams were good. E3 streams were good (you can't fuck up making fun of the gay shit at E3). People like their Space Ace and Police Quest streams, but your mileage may vary.

Overall, Jack and Rich never really figured how to do the 'people work' that separates the good streamers from the wannabes.

There's a PreRec With Jay playlist on youtube that's basically a podcast. Once they get Jay or another guest on the stream they just start talking about ScreamFactory Blurays and weird actors instead of whatever gay video game is being played poorly in the background.
