I think it probably just confirmed stuff I already presumed about them. Mike is a successful guy who goes after what he wants (ie this chick, starting RLM, etc) but is also probably hard to deal with at times. A trait most successful people have.

I can believe this. The guys said on a prerec stream once that Mike is a chronic workaholic and workaholics tend to not be the easiest partners. That and some of the interactions with Jessi and Gillian on BotW. I remember in one of the first ones Mike keeps trying to talk over Jessi because he doesn't agree with her opinion and she has to tell him to let her finish and Mike literally pushes his mouth into his fist to keep from interrupting her. He was really mean to Gillian too basically calling her dumb for liking a rom com he hated on HitB. Seems really harsh when women don't agree with him in a way I don't notice him act with the guys. Like he goes above and beyond to convince them they're wrong. And he calls every bikini blonde a bimbo. He's probably actually a super nice dude with some slightly misogynistic tendencies. Nothing crazy. I'm sure there's no shortage of women who would date him anyway. He created a company that makes 40K a month of donations because people love his content that much. The good outweighs the bad.

I know it's old but a conclusion to Jessi would be nice for her small fanbase here

Yeah, I'd like to know what happened to her as well.

I don't mean this in a feminist "muh equality" way, but it would be nice for them to have another female guest on BotW, it's been years and it adds an interesting dynamic.

I think of stuff like Jessi getting genuinely creeped out by Xtro, those kind of reactions you don't really get from guys or at least not as often.

Or Jessi's reaction to the dude with the blond mustache and curly mullet and Harley Davidson shirt in Candid Candid Camera, that was really funny.

I've wondered about that before. From what I saw other people say (which isn't fully confirmed, but speculation from what I recall), I'm pretty sure she just had other interests and didn't really want to be a part of the show anymore. At least something along those lines that didn't need to be made fully public.

Would be nice to get another girl like her appearing for a guest appearance, though not really something I'd hope for. More or less just a nice change of pace + variety to the show.

Last time they had a woman besides Jessi in a video, the comment section was filled with insults and jokes about her and Jay fucking.

I wouldn't be surprised if they, and possibly other women, don't want them on for exactly that reason. Their fanbase for the most part refuses to let them have nice things.

I doubt they have no contact with other film youtubers, including female ones. But the only woman I've seen show any possible interest in appearing on their shows have been crazy hags like Allison Pregler.

Wasn't that last woman Gillian? If so, she was constantly hanging all over Jay, so it's hard to blame people for making those jokes.

I wouldn't say he was particularly harsh with her, but I did find that back and forth really unusual, she was actually making a really good point in "I can understand critically it's shit, but personally it's what I like" which is not only the correct mindset to have but a mature one I expected Mike himself to have, which is why I found it odd he was butting heads with her over it so much, like he was being stubborn just for the sake of it. I do really doubt it had anything to do with her being a woman though, if anything it might have been just cause she was a guest.

Yeah but they were like that with the HitB she appeared on, being gross there too. So...

The only HitB I remember her being on is episode 20 and scrolling through those comments there's a few like what you've said but the majority them aren't, and there's probably at least an equal number either taking her side or saying she should come back on.

Isn't part of the reason she stepped back because they had a kid? Plus I'm sure the constant stream of "hey, you're kind of cute, and I mean that in a non-creepy way..." creepiness probably made the decision easy for her. Let's face it, RLM is making money with or without her, so she doesn't really NEED to be there.

I know Mike Stoklasa hasn't had a kid because the skies haven't wept blood.

I don't know if any of them are their kids, but whose kids are these?
