Yeah, if I have any complaints about Jay it's that he's definitely a bit of an elitist and it was clear he was being hard on the Joker because of who directed it.
As far as I am concerned a little elitism is perfectly fine especially with the risk averse modern remake and reboot plague.

I think I said under my other account most guests tend to be fine, so far the only ones I can live without for awhile is Mac and his friend (mostly his friend) and of course Max. I liked Patton as well, but less Hollywood for awhile would be nice.

Canadians are always great, Len is awkward but he's cool, Freddie is pleasant.

There used to be a few women who'd show up on HitB and BotW other than Jessi that I wouldn't mind if they returned. The bigger lady from the oooolllld Troll 2 review was great. Surprised the lady who played Nadine and flash dance alien never had a guest spot.

Also I wouldn't mind if RLM was just Jay Mike and Rich with some Caulkin. The rest are just... forgettable with the exception of the Canadians.

I absolutely agree I get a weird vibe from Caulkin though. Imo its more to do with the "watched him as a child actor as a kid, now watching as an adult after the Hollywood machine chewed him out" thing than anything else.

And yes I'm posting this because I'm seeing the Joker this weekend and can't watch the review, ugh.

The bigger lady from the oooolllld Troll 2 review was great.
The big girl was in a few of their early projects as well, I think Feeding Frenzy towards the end and The Great Space Jam short. She's the best actress they've ever had in any of their shlock. Like most of the girls they've had in projects, they probably aren't big into movies and their voices would get trampled by the guys. I remember Jessi having to argue with Mike a few times to let her finish her point. I don't tend to see the guys having to do that with each other.

It's weird how forgotten Troll 2 has been, so overshadowed by The Room as the "best worst movie", which is a shame because Troll 2 is still hilarious.

But they could use some female guests again, not trying to sound like some feminist but they have been a sausage fest for years now and it would be a nice change of pace.

I thought that were saving that for Halloween day, cool that it's already been posted.

I'm one of seven people that legitimately misses Jessi.
I can't say I cared one way or another about what Jessi had to say about a movie, her opinions seemed fine and she defended them well. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing her pop up again. What I liked more was watching the dynamic between her and Mike in discussions. Because it's funny when couples disagree I guess, and in this case you know they're getting in the same car and going home together so they can't shit sling each other too much. But unlike the others she has no film making experience and therefor no real reason to be there except she was gagging on Mike cock and he let her come on the show. I don't know which conspiracy theory I find more comforting, that they simply broke up and there was no weird stalker shit leading to her staying off camera, or that she left the show to be more anonymous and raise her and Mike's kids.

I wouldn't mind but there just seem way less women who are into that kind of stuff and if they are you get comedy poison like Obscurus [sic] Lupa who actually might end up on BotW thanks to Jack, so be careful what you wish for.

I haven't watched Exorcist III since I was 16 so I'm interested in seeing it again. I just remember thinking it was aight at the time, maybe cheesy with the old people.

Right, it would be nice to see a girl but I mean like Gillian, the fat chick, or even Jessi again. Someone established in RLM lore. ANYONE but Lupa. She is so god damn boring and only has a following thanks to her time with the Channel Awesome group. If she had started as a nobody her channel would be nothing, she'd be lost in the noise of "anyone member this movie" dime a dozen reviewers. And she's a chronic back stabber you wouldn't want anywhere near your business. I hope Jack knows better then to recommend her if Mike ever gets a wild hair up his ass to put a woman on just because.

Her early baywatching stuff was kind of funny. Then you could see the religion creep in...

Her jokes became fewer, more of them morphed into "calling out the problematic," and you started to get the sense of "het is ew" from her which makes me wonder how things work with Phelan at all.

Now if Phelan guest starred... that could be interesting to see him & mike having a contest on who is the most sarcastic & nihilistic between them (before both turning to pick on Rich).

I'd rather see Brad Jones as a guest. 50/50 chance that Brad and Jay would instantly hate each other though. And as they'd bitch at each other Mike would be getting progressively drunker and cackle in his sicko laugh.

It is nice to see Exorcist III getting some more attention these days. It is a movie that is way better than it has any right to be and its cool that people are starting to recognize that.

Youtube has locked the Starship troopers Re:view because it got reported for fascism and promoting white supremacy. You have to log in in order to watch it.

You can really appreciate the Exorcist 3 settings when they're used for the Resident Evil Games.

Atleast it was the same genre where as Silent Hill directly used the School from Kindergarten Cop

ST is one of the most scathing anti-fascist movies ever made and Verhouvan will forever be called a jackboot because idiots don't understand obvious satire. What a fucking joke.
