I like their idea that Warner Bros should take the DC heroes in a more artsy charachter driven direction instead of trying to out marvel marvel.

I guess this explains the FilmBlob ass-kissing.

Jay seemed weirdly obtuse during this review. Missing stuff like the protestors adopting the clown motif both because of the subway shootings and because Thomas Wayne refers to the non-elites as clowns, background chatter and references talking about stuff getting worse (which Mike had to point out), and the riots likely exploding like they do at the end due to the police shooting.
It was weird how Mike grasped the movie but Jay didn't. I'm not sure how prevalent that is on HitB but it's usually not the case with BotW where Mike can't even keep the movies straight. Jay came in ready to shit on it with energy and Mike, as per usual lately, seemed bored and a little apathetic. But at least he understood it.

Yeah I noticed some movie reviewers strangely not noticing that like Schaffrillas whose usually on point acted like the murder is the spark instead of Thomas Wayne's response of referring to the citizens as clown

What is up with that lately? Is it cinemasins having an undue influence on reviewers? I don't know why but more than once I've noticed folks just completely missing details & points about a movie that explains something they're complaining about.

They're right, the internet is turning everyone autistic because it's depressing nowadays how everybody seems to lack "Theory of Mind" capability any more. It's depressing how badly I've watched other people not grasp the concept that what a character believes in a story, might be different from what is actually true within that story. Sounds exactly like that with Joker all over again.

Jack's followed Bob for a couple of years now, which is weird because the latter's bitched about them a decent amount.

Honestly if Bob stays in his basement* and doesn't get over his crippling hatred of Middle America long enough to visit Wisconsin, then there's nothing to worry about.

*Basement APARTMENT, friendo.

I'm normally apathetic to Josh, and have actually been positive on occasion, (I think he was good in the Superhero BOTW and Surviving Edged Weapons WOTW.)

He's peak Wizard here. Just an awful honking parrot for Jay's observations. The only redeeming part of the discussion is Jay talking about getting invested in the mother's perspective, and giving his opinion as a person who isn't religious. Jay plus Josh may be the worst RLM combo.
I think that Josh is the absolute worst of the regular crew. Loud, obnoxious, and tries way too hard. He's the absolute worst part of any BOTW and I wish they'd just keep him locked away for the weirdo re:views.

Although, Jack is trying his hardest to beat him with all this SJW bullshit. Just get the Canadians their green cards already.

Smdh they didn’t include Her in the “list of movies that are mostly close ups of Phoenix”

Jay seemed way more excited to talk about the politics surrounding the movie. Mike, who had never even heard of the word incel, could pay attention to the movie because he didn’t care as much.

Loved Jay calling them "complete buffoons", yes Jay, SJWs are complete buffoons, I'm glad he's seeing the light more and more while Jack seems to be increasingly drinking the Kool Aid, it's possible some conflict might be coming.

Ofcourse Mike understood the nuances of the Joker better than Jay. The entire movie is what Mike has been planning once Disney and CBS simultaneously kill Star Wars and Star Trek within the same month.

When did he ever like SJWs? He and Mike directly made fun of SJWs years back in their Jurassic World review.

He never liked them but I feel he's still been somewhat hesitant to really full on call it out like we do.

But it's of course getting to the point where if you're not a member of the cult it's getting so ridiculous that you can't really be a fence sitter anymore.

I understand why Jack would want to branch out in other avenues. He wants to be on the internet more than he is in RLM, but doesn't want to ruin his friendships by forcing himself into a bigger slice of that Wisconsin Alcoholic pie. I honestly hope for the best for him, because I like how he brings a very different energy to BOTW. That being said, I am very very very very very nervous about it, because I sense a drama queen hiding under that bald noggin, and Mike seems the type to be allergic to drama.

Also, the only guests on BOTW worse than the mode (Peak JackJoshJessie) were Max and Patton. Everyone else was tolerable/inoffensive to great. Guests are fine, as long as it's not every episode.

I don't mind Jack's presence on BOTW at all, but it is worrying what he's getting up to outside of RLM and I hope he's classy enough to not start any drama.

I've noticed it especially with Batman v Superman.
I understand why people might dislike the movie but the amount of people who said that Lex Luthor had no motivation or that it wasn't explained is astounding.
Everyone was laughing at Affleck when he said that some ideas in the movie went over his head but those ideas went over their heads as well. A relatively dumb popcorn flick was too smart for the general audience because not everything was spelled out.

I think that he sees both SJWs and anti-SJWs as buffoons.
I agree with that.
Like the tagline of Alien vs Predator says: "Whoever wins... we lose."
