I'm surprised its taken people this long to actually hunt the RLM guys down. You have literal kidnapping and rape jokes in the original Plinkett reviews and of course the character of Plinkett originates from a (honestly pretty disturbing) sketch where he jerks off to the Olsen Twins. Compared to that madness them pointing out that there's corporate mandated diversity in The Force Awakens sounds pretty tame by comparison. Or that Rich Evans rightfully thinks that getting out and protesting is a big stupid waste of time.
The had a literal SJW gag in one Half in the Bag episode though so I figure people used to complain about this shit in the past. I'm waiting for the inevitable shitstorm when these people finds that CGP Grey video where he praises them and some kind of huge witch hunt erupts as people start trying to hunt him and everyone he's ever interacted with down.
The Plinkett stuff was just typical edgelord humor of the late 2000s and early 2010s though.
It was also self deprecating humor too, basically saying "this is the kind of weirdo you'd have to be to make hours long reviews of Star Trek and Star Wars movies" as a clever way to dodge criticism of being too pretentious or taking it too seriously.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Mike's Plinkett voice spoofing Ted Levine's voice from Silence of The Lambs and Joyride? I swear I heard that somewhere.
