Garrett Gilchrist is about as reliable as a rubber ladder, but I think it actually might be true based on a few things Rich has mentioned. Namely, he seems to have been at least partly raised by his grandmother; and he's indicated a few times that his parents didn't supervise him at all when it came to movies and tv. Of course, that's not exactly compelling evidence that his parents were drug addicts, but take it all together and I don't think it's unreasonable to think they were neglectful in some way. Which sucks, because Rich Evans deserves a lot better.

I don't believe it either but like you said there might be some truth in that statement. There must have been some reason why Rich was raised by his grandma. And Garret also spilled the beans on that time Mike and Jay had a rift in their friendship over a girl and some forum comments from Mike verify that there was some bad blood between the two of them.

It's pretty hard for me to imagine Mike and Jay having such a venomous rift between them considering they're basically a couple at this point.

While I understand this guy is pretty unreliable, I'm willing to believe Jay has trouble relating well to people. It's obvious in his chemistry with the other guys he just thinks about things differently than most. And while he's certainly hunked out later in life, pictures of him when he was younger definitely paint him as an awkward weirdo.

And here I thought I knew almost everything. Care to share where you found that tidbit?
I can't remember which one it was but there was a BotW video where one of the films featured an actor who eventually made it big. Jay said that's not unusual and referenced how Daisy Ridley got her start playing a corpse. Then everyone just kind of went silent and stared at him for a while and the editor placed this image on the screen next to him.

Also here's the actual scene in case anyone wants to see Rey's bruised tiddies. Lord knows Jay already did.

I need to find that, because I seriously can't recall that at all. And I've wasted so much time on BoTW, it's not even funny.

I should be so ashamed...
I've referenced it a lot in this thread. Probably too much, and I'm afraid @Mola Ram is starting to suspect something. But it's burned in my memory as one of the funniest "character" jokes the show's ever done. It really is Jay's version of the Wendy's Guy story.

Meh, I don't judge anybody except the spergs over in the MovieBob thread.

That explains it. I remember zoning out a bit on that one. It wasn't particularly my favorite.

Sounds like another watch is in order.

Also in a BotW which had one of the kids' safety films Rich makes some comments that seem to hint at being a latchkey kid.

Of course in the show isn't he also diabetic? I didn't think it was good for diabetics to drink. (is totally not taking notes on the many ways to kill humans)

She was had the main role in other movies

That Cynthia was never a star? She's been a feature in other movies. Though yes I'll admit they are weird enough it could be hard to decide if they have a main character or not.

Josh was the latchkey kid. Rich almost burned down his grandmas house while cooking french fries. The grandma house thing lends slight credence to the crack addicted parents.

Diabetics can drink beer. Like any food they need to use insulin to process the carbs. Source: I know diabetics who drink hella beer.

I remember when this all went down, Gilchrist was found on a stream either working on an edit for the thief and the cobbler or some MLP faggotry iirc.

As questionable as it is to take Gilchrist's word on RLM lore, I don't find all that happening too implausible. Mike and Jay could of just kissed and made up, water under the bridge. Happens in friendships.

Edit: reread that. Forgot the term "giving the goofballs"

That happened in BOTW: The Black Spine Edition aka Partners

I rewatched this and found the part; honestly I could see the joke, but I definitely wouldn't actually take it seriously. I saw no actual evidence of Jay being attracted to corpse fucking or anything, so much as he just has a very odd campy/gore memory about a lot of random facts.
Like Len with martial arts movies.

I bet you're the sort of guy who tells the girls to put their shirts back on at Mardi Gras because you don't want to see them get cited for public indecency.

What the fuck are you doing watching RLM if you don't jerk off to dead women?
