That wouldn't surprise me. The guys seem careful to avoid controversy these days—that's why they've become equivocating with their negative opinions. They're getting to the age where building a retirement nest egg is their primary concern.
Hence why they never seem to discuss the actual movie in BOTW now, it's mostly just random bullshit

I'm starting to think there's another kind of RLM curse...

Apparently the 40k that went to the Wisconsin Humane Society is the largest single donation they ever received.

These philanthropic hack frauds!

There’s a growing crowd on Twitter angry at them because of that article.

“You know who ELSE liked animals? Hitler!”

Welp, looks like the glemebeza video will be removed from the red letter media channel.

How on earth was this kept quiet for going on three years, and why is everything sealed? Even the complainant is anonymous.

you can't really assume shit about what people are like or how they relate off-camera
Yes you can and you can do so pretty accurately with the RLM guys because most of their content isn't scripted and they aren't actors: they're saying how they feel about things and you can infer things from what they're saying and their past and present behaviour.
and thinking you can is super gay and kinda parasocial
The parasocial shit is people getting upset when people criticize the friend sumulator boomers at Reddit Letter Media. People are eventually going to have to come to terms with the fact that they're just a bunch of spineless, cringey, hypocritical shitlibs (that have natural chemistry with each other and make some funny content fairly regularly) at some point.

Also lol at Mike using race science to justify sucking up to his celebrity friends, even Max Landis was a better guest than that boring sperg they had on.

"i know what they're really like in person because i watch their youtube videos" isn't parasocial huh

that's a fucking dumb thing to believe simply because even improvisational performers use personas, and it's kind of fucking sad if you don't realise this, even setting aside the fact that the other half of the equation in this case is roiland who you know jack shit about even if you're super intimate with your RLM headmates

Since it’s the state that goes after him and that always takes a long ass time. I can buy this long time between the assault claim and now the charge.

If you read the article, there's been lots of motion practice over the last three years, which is plausible but unlikely for a simple assault case. With Roiland's schedule it's possible there were lots of delays -- it's almost always the defense that causes delays, because if the prosecution delays it eats up their speedy trial time. (States have very specific laws concerning how much time the prosecution has to prove its case.) More likely his attorney is using dilatory tactics, but I can't imagine the judge would sit still for it for so long, though with a California judge presiding over a celebrity trial you never know.

There are lots of reasons for possible delays. The weird part is the fact this is the first time anyone's hearing about it; the fact everything is sealed; and the fact the complainant is anonymous. All that is very, very odd.
