I'M SO JEALOUS. I don't even have a BluRay player (:_(

Please give us a review after you've watched it!
It's a pretty fun well paced movie, to be honest I wasn't expecting much after seeing Feeding Frenzy (Which I get what they were doing but seemed a lot of the time like them and their non actor friends doing juvenile jokes which might of been meant ironically, I don't know.) but it's quite a lot better, Rich and Mike's characters play off each other well (In the commentary track you learn they adlibbed some scenes) and while there's a couple of fart jokes, a dead baby joke (Maybe it's just me but dead baby jokes remind me of 90s/2000s edgelords) and one scene which is about a minute of gay sex puns which seemed like they were trying way too hard (In the commentary Jay said he planned to cut the scene but at the screenings it got a lot of laughs so decided to leave it in) the humour is pretty good otherwise in my opinion.

The biggest surprises for me were there's a lot of decent actors and special effects (Practical and digital), there's also a lot of special features like a commentary track, over 20 minutes of bloopers, outtakes (If you've seen the trailer that hotdog scene didn't make the movie) and 3 or 4 making of featurettes which are a few minutes each (This is the first movie I've bought from them so I don't know if that's the kind of thing they usually do but it seems like they've put a lot of thought into the extras), the soundtrack is also pretty great (It's Tron: Legacy-esque synth).

Overall I'm not sure if non RLM fans would like it but I think people who are fans should.

So I figure I share this since it ties into the fifth episode of Best of the Worst, but Tales From Genesis Space is now on YouTube:

Just finished Space Cop, it was pretty fantastic. It got quite a few laughs out of me and I was entertained the entire time. It was also fun to recognize RLM people (my favorite example is how Jessie is the delightfully Wisconsin police operator).

Space Cop was also a pretty star-studded affair. Not only did they get Patton Oswalt and Freddie Williams Jr, we got an awesome cameo from the man- the legend- himself...

LEN FUCKING KABASINSKI. He was the fight choreographer and makes a cameo as Rich's hilariously obvious stunt double.

Can I just say how much I love Len? He's so awesome about not taking himself too seriously. I mean, RLM did an episode where they (lovingly) rip his movies to shreds and instead of being a total lolcow about it and throwing a fit, he guest starred in an episode of Best of the Worst, did an interview with Mike and Jay, made a cameo in another BotW, and then he actually helped them with Space Cop. He also regularly comments on their stuff. Everyone needs to take a page out of Len's book when it comes to how to deal with criticism.

The best part:

Rich: I'm not even kidding, I think Larry [a guy in one of the videos they watched] might be somewhere in the autistic spectrum. This is not a man who-
Mike: Don't say that.
Rich: What?
Mike: You said it before and everyone freaked out.
Rich: What? I don't give a shit, he's autistic.
Mike: It's autistic-shaming [text pops up that says #autism-shaming]
Rich: Yeah, well, I don't know, grow a fucking backbone. [text pops up that says #scoliosis-shaming] Learn to take a comment you don't like and not freak out. Get laid. [text says #infrequent-intercourse-shaming] I'm Rich Evans, I've gotten laid, you can do it!
