Winter in Wisconsin: bald and empty.

Josh is projecting.

He also seems to have a weird tick where if he says something he thinks is funny he breathes in and out quickly. Once you notice it you can't not hear it and it's really fucking annoying.

An attempt at a reflexive quiet chuckle to roll his merry quips along, so strangulated by social awkwardness and tism that it comes out like a sex predator hyperventilating.

Yeh, he's not as bad on a one to one discussion but is still a spaz. Like in this episode Jay made an obvious joke about samurai in WW 2 and it just sailed over his head and he bulldozes in with a comment about how you didn't have samurai at that time.

This really is probably one of the worst videos with Beardfat in it, because while he's listening to what Jay is saying, he doesn't seem to be engaging with it, and is instead stuck on a loop of surface observations and meaningless agreement. The only one that was worse was the David Lynch trivia showdown.

While I dislike him the most of the regulars, there have been a few instances where his insufferable personality added something to the proceedings. Him to rambling about the Dr. Butcher MD plot while a drunken Mike tries to get Rich Evans to talk about Shaq Meat. Him actually knowing who that crazy bitch who made Turtle Dreams was. Both moments made possible by Josh's douchey nebbishness.

As horrible as he is, he was in some of my favorite BOTW episodes. The Halloween with Vampire Assassin, Hack-o-Lantern, and Kathy's Curse, the WOTW with Surviving Edged Weapons, and the WOTW where the watch every tape.

I don't think it's Jay that brings the best out in him. Their videos together are hit or miss, because they're both intellectuals. They can be interesting. But if he's going to be in a roundtable he either needs a drunken Mike or a suitably engaged Rich to keep him from filling the conversation with meaningless blather. (Not tired frustrated Rich)

Not nearly as endearing as Rich quietly repeating his joke partially in a quiet wheezing voice after delivering it. I never noticed this about Josh, but you are absolutley correct... I guess I noticed the Rich one because I like Rich so I pay attention to him...

I watched their review of Malignant and something stood out to me. They stated they hoped that the director was intentionally making a "so bad it's good" stupid movie and I hate that idea. I don't know if that's true or not but what makes a film like the Room so interesting is that it's sincere. I hate obsession with being self-aware.

This was one of the worst Josh Re:Views. He's always the obscure/horror film one who works mostly with Jay in these but the film wasn't enough to carry a solo review, even with WI connections. It is telling that outside of the Joe vs. the Volcano review with commie candadian Jim, Josh is always doing this with Jay.

Late, but I'm so glad when people are introduced to Josh's faggy twitter.

You should have seen how crazy he went during the Milwaukee Riots a few years back.

It's nice to have a reason to justify my gut reaction about not liking him. Explains a whole bunch.

Jack may have had his moments, but he never seemed like a dick.

I really like Tim. I can't tell if it's just cause he's a fresh of breath air or not whne he shows up, but I like him.

From the comments section of the recent RLM video:

Hi, I'm Fabrice's (the director) son, and he just sent me this review. I'm so surprised and happy to see you guys reviewing my dad's movie as I've been watching some of your reviews for a while now, and I never thought I'd see BloodBeat being talked about on YouTube let alone on your channel. My dad is so happy with your review. After all this time I don't think he ever thought people would talk about this obscure, weird, funny thing of a film.
On behalf of my family, thanks for bringing BloodBeat to the attention of a whole bunch of new viewers. Great video

I really don't like Josh but I think having a small bit of insight on whatever the fuck was going on with Turtle Dreams was needed. Maybe the 1 time where being a pedantic bore was tolerable.

Tim is down for whatever and I appreciate that. He doesn't try to be intellectual, he doesn't try to ham it up for attention, he knows when to insert a comment and when to shut the fuck up. His puzzle piece fits effortlessly. This is where he and Mac differ. Mac has good chemistry with the guys, but it always feels like he's hamming and trying too hard.

Poor Mike, losing his majestic-laughed love. Did Rich get married to avoid the “not-gays” yet?

And I agree with the Tim appreciation. It’s always a great time when he comes on. Nothing forced or cringe (but the hilariously bad movies), and he has some great jabs he throws out.
