I just found it odd since Severin released this and a Polanski film yet rallied against Richard Stanley and his allegations.
I think thats because they've worked with Stanley multiple times and planned to work with him again for another movie. No big loss as I thought Color Out Of Space sucked.

Yay best of the worst...Boo it has the twitter addict that will be sexually harassing cashiers at whatever store is "in fashion" when he is 70.

Yea, I'm glad it's not Josh. I can watch an episode with Jack, I can never finish one with Josh

Also, this episode features classic Rich Evans slapstick. Truly the Buster Keaton of our time.

Jack's on twitter? Aw.
and he is exactly the worst type of Twatter fags.

I can tolerate one, Both makes me want to drink a cup full of Bleach and Cyanide.

You know, if someone's twitter account bothers you enough to get irritated when they're on the show, maybe just don't read their twitter?
If their actual demeanor onscreen is intensely annoying (as Josh's is for me), that's different, but it's sounding like people need to learn to separate the art from the artist a bit ITT.

This is my opinion of Canadian Jim. Apparently he's a massive Twitter sperg, but I still adored his Scottish Pizza gag from the Strange Brew Re:View.

Go back into your cage.

This was the most boring episode in recent memory. I actually don't know why they bothered editing it and uploading it. I get it takes a lot of time to make these but it's not uncommon for them to either skip through a movie or just outright discard it and move on than suffer thru a boring film about nothing. I was excited to see Jack back for an episode but apparently, you all hate him because he made you mad over the internet or something, but I was happy to see him. Unfortunately, the movies were so bland and boring that it makes you wonder why they decided to do a discussion at all. Stop doing these gimmicks and just pick a damn movie. This is an episode I know ill never watch again.
Maybe they do these gimmicks because they are getting bored with the format idk.

I mean, even if it was just a regular episode, there’s just as much a chance that the movies will be boring. If they know nothing about them, it’s still a luck of the draw sort of thing.

This was an okay episode, mostly because the chemistry between the guys made it look like they were really having fun with the drek they picked. And the movies themselves had at least one thing about each that was memorable. (The SFX in tIMM, the huge construction truck scene in Starship, and the badass, accidentally massive car explosion stunt in Lady Vengeance.)

Odds and ends:

- I liked now they just used footage in the credits from The Incredible Melting Man for all three movies because who gives a shit, they were all boring.

- Shout out to Lady Vengeance for having an awesomely cheesy 80s soundtrack. It's so bad it's genuinely good.

- I love it when the guys point out something about the film production I probably wouldn't have noticed as a layman.
Stop doing these gimmicks and just pick a damn movie.
This is the only part of your rant I really agree with. The problem with these gimmicks is you might end up with 3 boring movies and have nothing interesting to film an episode about, and that happens a little too often on BotW. They need to sprinkle in some curated picks so the episodes are guaranteed to have movies that amusingly contrast or compliment each other. I'm okay with one of the guys having seen the movies if the others haven't.

Or maybe they need to change something else. I have to admit BotW used to be one of my favorite things they did, but I often don't even get through the episodes these days. Whether it's the movies being terrible or the guys feeling bored of it, I can't always tell.

I thought the episode was fine. Judged against other episodes it's in the bottom tier but even then it's just a bit boring and was a perfectly OK watch.

I like that they try new gimmicks. I think the black spine ones are neat, I liked the scavenger hunt and wish they would do that again, Freddie Williams picking them based on cover art was also a particularly good episode (and guest!). They've had some good gimmick episodes and it adds some variety. The flipside is obviously that they have some bad gimmicks too, and a purely random choice of videos is hard to elevate when they're all boringly bad films. The actual blindfold gimmick was also boring, seemed like purely a vehicle for Rich to do his thing. Nothing wrong with that, but it aint no black spine junka.

You're preaching to people who over analyzed this new episode as proof they're bored or something.
