The Trump moment was pretty harmless, and it let Josh show off his Trump impression, which was really pretty funny.

Also, their take on Mr. T wasn't as bad as I expected. Their memory was that he just kind of appeared in the early 80s, which ... honestly, isn't that far off. Stallone saw him on some tough guy competition, and decided he'd make a great Clubber Lang.

Mike's distaste for him, though, is exactly as pointlessly cynical as you might expect.

I cannot stress this enough: he was/is an actor who parlayed his success in the Rocky franchise into TV stardom via the A-Team -- the fact that he had a physical and characterologically enduring and endearing presence meant that he was a natural for licensing opportunities, sure, but he was an actor, a real, working actor.

Man the body blade section went on too long. Some of it was funny, but I could see how using inertia it could provide resistance to movement and therefore useful for some exercises. Given those lazy fucks have never seen the inside of a gym its a bit hypocritical of them to laugh at people trying to better themselves.

I mean its probably a scam but that device is only funny to a point.

Fun fact, Mr. T dedicated most of his WWE Hall of Fame speech to his mother in such cringe fashion, WWE made a video mocking him within the next week about it. Idk if it's available anywhere. But I remember laughing my ass off when it aired.

But Mr. T was awesome in his era. I did love RLM putting the non-sequitur of him saying wearing gold was due to his ancestors being slaves, and then not commenting on it, that was kino.
 
Their hatred of Mr T is pretty weird. I thought most people liked/respected Mr T. He always seemed to have a wholesome image, and nothing has taken away from that. He seemed to truly want to be a positive image to kids.

Weird as it sounds, hating on Mr. T is like hating on bunnies or kittens. He's completely harmless and pretty wholesome by most standards.
