Rebekah Jones is an American "geographer, data scientist, activist, and whistleblower", according to her Wikipedia page.

But don't let that or her mild attractiveness fool you: this woman is an unhinged lunatic.

Born in Pennsylvania in 1989, Rebekah graduated from Syracuse University with dual degrees in geography and journalism in 2012. She then got her Master's from Louisiana State in 2014, and started work on her doctorate at Florida State, but never finished (more on this later, for it is a fine source of lulz).

Becky's Big Break

Rebekah began working for the Florida Department of Health in 2018 as a geographic information systems (GIS) analyst. This involved crunching numbers on mapping and surveillance to aid the state in disaster relief.

During the Pandemic, she worked on the DOH's Covid dashboard. She claimed that she was reassigned and then fired for refusing to falsify data about Covid cases and deaths.

Corporate media gobbled up this story, praising Becky as a Stunning and Brave whistleblowing Scientist™️ speaking truth to power, and being persecuted for it by anti-science fascists.

Except...That's all bullshit.
According to a review of the dashboard by the Tampa Bay Times, the information — which Jones argued was deleted as part of a cover-up effort — was removed on the afternoon of May 4 and reinstated by the evening of May 5.

Nor did she design the dashboard:
Instead, the department relied on a dashboard built by ArcGIS, a map-making software used by Johns Hopkins for its widely-cited coronavirus map. Jones was part of a team of three people who worked on updating the dashboard with new data.

In other words, she was a glorified data entry clerk.

Nor was her firing for refusing to falsify the data. It was due to insubordination and repeatedly making unilateral decisions without consulting her co-workers and epidemiologists.

By 2022, Florida state investigators concluded that the DOH had done nothing wrong and that Rebekah was full of shit:
the independent report paints a portrait of an employee who did not understand public health policy or the significance of epidemiological data, did not have high-level access to crucial information and leveled claims that made professional health officials 'skeptical.

This week she’s taken to social media to claim that Ron Desantis had her son arrested in retaliation against her family. The Gentle Reader should no be surprised to learn that she was lying.
In fact, her son was wanted because of threats he had made against his school, and there’s video footage of Jones turning her son in to law enforcement.
I’ve met Jones. Having seen how she presented herself in court when was seeking a bogus peace order against Christina Pushaw, and talked with her on the courthouse steps after one hearing, I believe that she has some sort of mental health problem, exactly what I’m not competent to diagnose.

Changed it. She's superficially decent-looking, but is brought down by her inner ugliness, like Amber Heard.
 
Someone that uses ArcGIS being a "data scientist" is laughable in the extreme. I've seen help desk people get promoted to work on it after ~3 months. Repeatedly.
 
It's a start, but needs a lot more fleshing out. I assume this is still a wip, as a few sections lack material, and the criminal behavior one is mostly composed of external links.
