It controls reasonably well. Running diagonally to go faster no longer works. Aiming is completely overhauled, you can move around while aiming and you move the right stick to aim your entire viewport, with the reticle staying in the middle. It's still a hassle to move it onto just the exact right pixel like you need to do on some of the harder difficulties. How's Goldeneye? Might double dip just for that.
Otherwise, it is exactly what you would get if you ran it in an emulator. Text and the ammo meter are blurry but legible. I think it runs at 30fps, better than N64 but worse than XBLA Perfect Dark. Achievements for clearing every stage and unlocking every cheat are nice. It's fine.
It's funny, I hadn't played the Control level since I was a kid, and I remember it taking a herculean effort to beat. As an adult, I beat it again after a few tries, and it was due to this one fucking asshole guard that breaks the right-side glass and immediately shoots Natalya unless you know he's coming. I also had a glitch happen where I cleared out the level, which should trigger Natalya to come out and start hacking the satellite, but she never opened the door.
