The amount of begging I've seen from 21+, sometimes even 25+ year olds that have a job or/and live with their parents and constantly post about the concerts they go to or the stupid shit they bought.
Those are the ones that try to justify their shit with the most retarded excuses, including 'I'm mentally ill and managing money is difficult for me!!'.

I gave three pounds to someone once because he was legitimately in a bad situation (gay guy from homophobic country moved to England and had very little support) and he makes enjoyable content, so I figured it was the least I could do. And he got his shit together and hasn't made another post. That's the only time I've ever given anyone on tumblr money.
It's like when you see panhandlers/homeless people with cups in public--nearly everyone walks right by, and you have the sneaking suspicion that a lot of that money is going to drugs.

I’ve done the same. A person I followed said they’re laptop had died. They were fine otherwise, but that was an unexpected finacial problem they hadn’t planned for. I tossed them some money and viewed it the way I might toss some money to a streeet performer who entertained me. I enjoyed what they produced, and so I gave them money.
