Fun fact: Breezewood is one of the few, if not the only places where an interstate highway is interrupted by stop lights to stop traffic and funnel business into it thanks to probably pretty legally sketchy deals between the locals and the feds.

I've said this before in the r/fuckcars thread, but I have also been through breezewood pa, mostly to go towards the altoona area to sometimes visit relatives, but that lesser matters. I remember my earliest moment of going through breezewood was either seeing that old tall shell sign through the highway, and eating at one of those vintage style denny's I must have been about 5 possibly 6 when I went there. It was a really nice diner, had that classic 50s look and i guess when I was a kid I enjoyed their food, shame they closed it down though.

Then years later (on another trip to see family) I remember eating at the mcdonalds near the motel there, pretty sure it was before they remodeled the building to the boring design they do nowadays and from the 2010s, so it was still the 80/90s red roof mcdonalds, like this google image from 8 years ago. And the food.... it was mcdonalds, it not the wheel but its fine.

And the last time I was there I had Carl's Jr, that too was alright but nothing out of the ordinary.
I never ate at the Perkins there before, granted I've never ate at Perkins before, I wonder what its like?
Oh and thread tax: found this video of a fatty taking an edible on a wheelchair scootypuff.
