I actually did this because of some anime I saw. Konosuba? Probably, The MC was this colossal shut in bitch and I remember seething so hard he wasn’t fat, because I was fat. I lost like like 60 pounds out of pure animal hatred for this little gook man my roommates and I watched.

When I came back from college my mother (who always used to chide me for being a fatass) immediately demanded to know what inspired this change, and me, the type of person to feel self conscious over fictional bugman characters, pretended like I didn’t know what she was talking about.

My wonderful mother then assumed I was doing drugs and honestly I’d be unmerciful if I told her the truth. Because I know if konosuba had a positive effect on my child’s life I’d probably blow my shit smooth off.
