I was about to say that maybe the kebab was an exceptional individual that got spooped, but then I remembered that dogs are particularly hated in Islam and seen as unclean.
dogs are what made humans.
Sorry I really need to emphasise that in the last quote, not just from a Sociological POV but from an Evolutionary Biology point of View and why we get along so well with Dogs (or anything in the lupus genus) the way we do.
Us and Canids share a lot in common more so than other animals, We are Social animals with a pack mentality, we enjoy problem-solving and we are also coursing predators and that last but is part is partly why we work so well. You see Cat's are mostly if not totally ambush predators even Big Cat's use Ambush skills to bring down the majority of their prey.
But while the Cat's where fine doing their thing Humans and Canines where evolving and the Lupis Genus evolved to take advantage of it's speed and duration over the distance it still ended with teeth, we didn't have that advantage what we had was brains. What may have started with smashing a Rabbit with a rock but was as yet unrefined lead us to develop Endurance unheard of the in Animal kingdom before true tool creation we mostly ran our food down till they were exhausted or had heart attacks.
Now not long after Controllable fire and Tool use our main competitor saw this and wanted in on the deal, and it was a very mutual agreement they get food, heat and shelter and they help us save energy, time and have speed we don't but also the endurance to keep up with us until we need it without overexerting themselves and also the Brains to realise it and also work together.
The thing is nobody knows how this really began but you can't argue that this was not a really good partnership, Personally, I have this idea in my mind of some early people sitting around a fire on a bad night after a good hunt with a fire going and the local Wolfpack edging in to get warm an then someone tossing some food to them as a joke and hitting it off from there like a really good friend you make at a party.
Now, it's become a point where Dog's and people are intertwined we are almost a codependent species in some regards (not truly such but you can't picture humans without dogs), if anything Wolves that became dog's spead up human advancement by saving us time, Dog's and to a lesser extent Cat's are the only animal picture an adult brains human interaction centers fires with the same portion of the brain as it does the animal behavioural brain under CT scans, and with Dog's it is the only part of the brain that is reciprical and also distinguisable in anything other than Great Apes that we can say without any doubt is recognition and also extrapolation, and also the only animal that will try emotional manipulation of a person who isn't a great Ape conciously.
Now I am simplifying a lot of subjects here BUT, look at a seriously abused dog to the abuser they are never outright violent they nearly always assume a submissive posture and try and look happy but still transmit fear (that we can read) in there body language, they make a show of being happy to see that person by wagging there tail and forcing there eyes nice and wide, and will finch at any sign of a threat to them, and it triggers the same part of our brains as defending kids btw when we see this.
To reject Dog's as "Dirty" isn't just stupid, it's wrong, even untrained dog's unless given no option ever after domestication for generations dislike shitting where they eat and are one of the few animals that won't if given the choice. They are one of the Few Animals that also form Bonded pairs outside of biological convention, and while not biological they can interperate other animals body language better than we can (not just ours but most animals), and are unlike a lot of animals willing to take others in, you know the "Ferral child" storeys you see from Russia or other parts of the world, they recognise those children as friend and not Food an that is something not many animals can do with any survival rate.
Now I am not one of those tit's who is saying Dogs are people too, what I am saying is dogs are more like us than most people realise, and if you dislike dog's because someone 1600 years ago didn't like them the problem is your ideals and not the animal, because socially, they are a reflection of us.
/End of Rant.
