To German speakers: How does Drachenlord sound to you, when he speaks? What kind of impression does he give, based on the way he talks?
As a German you will immediately notice 3 things:
- he is from the southern parts of Germany
- he is not very educated
- he is probably a retard (= of low IQ; which he officially is since a trial in 2021 where an expertise on him was presented by his lawyer which officially classified him as a retard)
The dialect he speaks or sometimes tries to speak, the Franconian one, is overall a very relaxed one and can be understood very easily. It's not a harsh and guttural sounding one like other southern dialects or like people in Saxonia speak. And it doesn't sound as slurred as other German dialects.
But Rainer speaks sometimes really, really slurred.
There is the phenoma
@Sinner's Sandwich already mentioned where Rainer fucks up the end of a word (mainly verbs). There is one kind of (in)famous example: rose hips are called "Hagebutte" in German. The plural of "Hagebutte" is "Hagebutte
n" but when Rainer speaks it becomes "Hagebutt
ne".
The word also can be used as example for the kind of Franconian dialect he speaks because in the Franconian dialect it's pronounced "Hagebu
dden". Turning a t into a d or a k in a g is a common trait in this region. Not everywhere and not in every word and it also depends a lot on the different parts of Franconia of course.
Reiner claims that the ne-phenoma is something that steems from his dialect but in fact it does not. It's just him being uneducated and/or a retard (nuture vs nature).
His vocabulary is very limited and basic. Which leads to two other funny traits of Rainer.
1) He incorporates words in his vocabulary which to him sound like only a very educated person would use but in 99,9% of the time he uses the words in a completely wrong context. Sometimes it makes it use meaningless and sometimes it even undermines completely what he actually wants to say.
His current favourite new word is "banal" (mundane; banal).
2) The moment he learns a new word which he thinks of it being a very educated one he uses it a lot. You can immediately recognize when Rainer learned a new word.
When he is angry his speech becomes very slurred and tends to turn into unrecognizable rambling.
And he has a lot of issues with forming proper and coherent sentences, even with very simple ones.
You may know KingCobraJFS who often has these kind of blackouts where he speaks and just stops speaking mid sentence like his CPU stopped working, blackouts for a few seconds and then continues like nothing happened? Rainer does this too.
EDIT:
Does Rainer have any white knights or financial enablers that support his lifestyle, like Chris and the Gunt? Does he have any genuine fans? Or is he truly universally reviled?
It's safe to assume that 99,999999% of the financial support he gets from people is in fact coming from trolls.
And on a random note, what does ‘Derjeniche’ mean, in the context of Drachenlord? I see that word everywhere
"Derjeniche" is a slurred version of "Der jenige" which simply means "the one who".
Rainer uses this word a lot. Like "Ich bin nicht derjeniche der die Scheiße baut" = "I am not the who does fuck shit up".
He uses it to deflect any sort of criticism and thus has become a running gag among trolls.
