Well I've said it before here and I'll say it again. This subreddit is basically if Eliot Rodger was still alive to create this own subreddit then.

This sub and the redditors in it are like the inverse of shitty artist's who claim "muh style" when someone points out their horrible anatomy or just general lack of skill. They mistake(sometimes on purpose) obviously stylized artwork as examples of bad anatomy, its like they think every piece is supposed to be an anatomy study or something. Not to mention their fixation on "anatomy" shows in their artwork, someone else said it earlier but these people have no gesture in their pieces. Its painfully obvious they've never done gesture sketches, and havent formed a habit of starting pieces with gesture lines. Even beyond the obviously cringe redesigns looking at their stiff and and lifeless drawings is a pain on the eyes. These are the type of people that think to themselves "I'm so creative, arent I just so cool and quirky" after they shit out their 30th oc of the day with no skill or dedication to craft.

I hope none of them wasted money on art college because their art really sucks. On topic but look at this redesigning of Etna from Disgaea(taken from the subreddit):

Now it doesn't look that bad but it's not Etna and besides the little Prinny thing on the jacket it looks really bland as a redesign. I mean I'm a shit artist but if I were trying to redesign Etna I'd at least incorporate the little red bangles(?) into the design.

I'm not a great artist, unless you consider stick figures great, but that doesn't look too bad. I must agree with the jacket bit and incorporating those "bangles," though.

I'm sure the subreddit already covered the well-known Highschool of the Dead bit with the matrix breasts.

I'll give it that it's a bit creative & not just prudish AF.

Edit: Apparently this is succubus character, so I can see the issue in this design. Reminds me of the P5R bullshittery.

Etna is a succubus. That's her actual canon race within the game. She's actually wearing quite a bit considering what kind of demon she is.
