On another note, it's funny that these people don't know why professionals in the industry (especially manga) choose to draw women attractively.

Because they literally attract people.

It's the reason why furries pay so much for furry fetish art. Or why manga artists like to put anime girls on the cover of their mangas. Or why shadman still manages to stick around despite his controversial content. Or why artists choose to have an NSFW alt. Sexy women drawn in suggestive poses can get you cash real good, and/or hook people into your stuff.

Also, don't let these people know about Artstation. There was a scuffle about a certain tranny in one of the TLoUII Official Art posts. Past the 3D renders, landscapes and everything else, those fuckers would have a field day.

True, but these people aren't complaining because it's unrealistic or fetishized, they're complaining because it doesn't comport to their standard of what women should look like: hideously fat, ill, clearly a penis-haver, ugly, disabled, sufferer of vitaglio or psoriasis, and whatever else happens to be the fashion for Reddit users this month.

Now I'm not here to say the character designs are good or bad. I have no artistic ability and I honestly couldn't tell you. Plus, it's a simple art style, and none of those designs are THAT sexualized. It's a Disney show after all. My point is that alongside the intentionally ugly (VILLAIN) Meteora, the show's creator had no problem drawing conventionally attractive female characters. The only possible explanation, of course, is the creator's excessive toxic maleness and his male testosterone leading to male misogyny and male hatred of strong, independent wombyn with good personalities.

This is also a show for children, of course it won't be filled with tons of characters showing skin. These people have the same moral sensitivity as those "religious right" conservative parent groups from the 70s who advocated those same restrictions into place 40 years ago do, which is ironic considering how much their lefty userbase hates Christians.

Honestly, is it so hard to believe that cosplayers, people whose hobby is looking good, might also be the sort of people to work out? Hell, it almost seems required to be in shape if you want to dress up like most video game or anime characters. I guess redditors just have a crab bucket mentality about other people trying to stay fit.

I mean, it is common for cosplayers to use foam pieces or other kinds of shapewear....if it's a crossdresser cosplaying that is, lmao. I can understand not liking risque and overly sexual cosplay, that's personal taste, but my god you don't need to witch hunt every single female with a curvier figure because it's "unrealistic" and "pandering".

oh they do that too, we've seen endless whining about skinny models and constant pushing for "plus size" (read: fat) models for multiple decades now.
basically if there's a skinny woman then you're glorifying anorexia, if there's a curvy/thick woman then you're objectifying female bodies for the male gaze. the end result they want is seeing nothing but ugly, dumpy, fat or skinnyfat women, so they can feel better about their own mediocrity.

I mean if they actually addressed the real faults of modeling (sexual abuse, models turning to drug abuse, etc, all that fun stuff) they'd be making a lot more progress than crying about how X should be a beauty standard instead of Y because Y is icky, but rambling about model is another post for another day.
Basically my point is anyone complaining about how ___ is too sexualized doesn't even address the real cause of the problem, they just want to take the easy way out by complaining about dumb shit ("HER TITTIES ARE BIG REEEEEEEEEEEEEE") or just wanting to be in the center of attention instead of someone else ("We need more 9ft tall tranny drawings instead of dainty ladies!)". Replace ___ with art, cosplay, or any visual medium.

They ALL have an average body type, you literally have to just not be a hamplanet to look like this body type. I'm fucking baffled by this level of butthurt. I guarantee none of the people in the sub are average body type or even bio women at this point.

My best guess is that it's one big cope against women who look better than they do. Maybe they were bullied by Stacy in high school so anything resembling a slim figure and big breasts sends them to a fit of rage?
