Their first thought of comparison when it comes to violently oppressive governments is not Nazi Germany, not South American or African dictatorships, none of that....but a crappy fucking movie from 10 years ago.

They truly cannot function in society unless everything is filtered through children/teenage fiction for their tender minds to comprehend (and for them to play at being the sthuper kewl hero). Again, how does that prevent law enforcement from getting involved? Isn't the point of these campus programs to react faster than the legal system is capable of doing, and without the same level of evidence that would be required for convicting someone?

Of course, Ghazi and others ( /r/Anarchism and /r/GirlGamers are easy finds ) also pimped out this shit where a woman who was unable to get a gag order to stick against an ex was using this experience to rationalize not going to the police over domestic assault, so they'd probably be just as happy with lynch mob justice.

One of the biggest myths that needs to die is that your first response to being abused should be to go to the police and seek justice. Then Steph Guthrie and her co-defendant lost their case, the transcripts showing equal parts “she was asking for it” and “how did this get in there i am not good at computers”. Going to court is like rolling the dice, the precedent you established isn’t up to you, and I didn’t want to risk becoming a tool in the next Creep Throat’s arsenal if we lost. I have have worked with enough lawmakers, law enforcement officers, lawyers, and judges at this point through our work with Crash Override to know that education is sorely lagging behind on these issues, not to mention the cultural biases that come with any cases like that.

That shit they pimped out was written by Zoe Quinn, who is white and was more likely the abuser in her relationship with Eron,

It's also worth mentioning that she is being bankrolled through a combination of patreon donations and her boyfriend's wealthy father and had Wilmer Hale represent her during the trial, a law firm which charges $750/hr. Eron is a nobody who was fighting through a combination of donations and pro bono work. Zoe and a few of her connections in the media even tried to twist his donation drives as something sinister, as though he had any other option to defend himself from the gag order or going to jail (supposedly because they drew attention to Zoe's shenanigans, that meant she was getting harassed or something so he shouldn't do it). During this whole time Zoe was doing interviews and making statements directly referencing and demonizing Eron, often repeating a claim that he physically abused her.

GamerGhazi also continues to scrub any mention of the CON leaks.

Surprisingly, they did allow discussion of the coordinated "doxxing" a few anti-GamerGaters did, though this was after it was clear that the individuals involved had been excommunicated from the movement by Harper.

I'm sure they'll find something that disqualifies each of those candidates. What qualifies as a proper representation of femininity is a moving target, dependent more on the creator or supporter of the media than any objective standard.
At the end of the day, though, /r/GamerGhazi was borne from a motley of opportunists, drama queens, and thirsty outcasts out of a common interest to defend Chelsea Van Valkenburg from facing the consequences of her actions. Chelsea,who fucked at least five different men to advance her career (her married boss included), is a personification of many of the stereotypes Tumblr feminists rail against - she relies on her boyfriend for most of her money, is vain, is dishonest, has provided sex for favors on multiple occasions...
