Ahh, yes. North Love Baptist. Reformers Unanimous horseshit program center that sent their slaves patients to work for various local employers while stealing their checks and committing various exploitations and abuses. The Duggars have at least 3 non-straight kids or more I'm sure. Won't be surprised if some of their grandchildren end up on the fruity side. Josh is a bisexual pedophile, John David seems on the down low, Jana is definitely a lesbian, Josiah is 100% effeminately gay, and Justin seems gay. So in total, my guess is 5 of their 19 kids are. I hope they work something out with their beards, else the Duggar kids mid-life crisis special of 2042 will be glorious.

I bet Josh thinks this is completely unfair. He was taught that when men assault women it's because men are 'visual creatures' and women are supposed to go out of their way not to tempt them. If he assaulted them it's only because he was curious and they were asking for it. I remember a work sheet the Duggar kids filled out at the SOTDRT that said when assault happens women are equally responsible. If they were modest, they wouldn't pique the interest of men. It's a failing on their part.

It always seemed insane that the Duggars insisted it was inappropriate for little girls to not wear leggings at home under their dresses in case they accidentally flashed someone but it's obvious in hindsight they brought in that rule because of Josh. They didn't always do that and they began right around the time that JB found out about Josh's activities.

Not necessarily. I remember years ago there was a woman who made the news after she escaped her Amish community, where she was repeatedly raped by her brothers every day, but she was punished by her family for bringing it to the police rather than forgiving them. Just a quick Google search seems to indicate that Amish communities have a pretty serious problem regarding incest and rape.

Turns out extreme isolationist religious sects that enforce the idea of blindly obeying male figures and never ever talking about shit outside the club about what's going on... lead to bad things.

So, that was exactly what I was expecting. No hint of condemnation of Josh's actions.

The reason they call them Josh and Anna's children and not their grandchildren is because in their circles they believe in 'leave and cleave'. Essentially that means you are considered entirely independent from your parents when you marry and henceforth you're now a separate family entirely under the sole leadership of the husband. The Duggars are a bit more extreme with the leave and cleave idea than many other fundies of the same stripe. In their eyes it would undermine Josh's authority if they didn't acknowledge the family as its own independent unit.

Eh, that's letting him off too easy. A decade or two of being beaten and raped by niggos (and everyone else in prison) is much more fitting of a punishment.
