I got an email from some group supporting Susan Atkins, she had brain cancer, and her husband and others were trying to get her released on "compassionate grounds", so she could die at home.
I have no idea where they got my email from. I sent one back to the group saying she deserved to die in jail, which she did.

Religious people are not more likely to diddle kids (in fact, public school teachers are 100 times more likely to be chomos than Catholic priests).

You just hear about religious people boinking kids more often, because it is more of a scandal. They are failing to practice what they preach.

Yes, I know about the Catholic church. Word is that they had a pedo-purge once word got out, no idea if it's actually true or not. It's been like ten years since I've heard about the Catholic Church having this problem. The last I heard about it was a South Park episode.

I think we're coming at this from opposite sides of the aisle & both think the other is tipping the scales when they really belong at the middle. I'm just saying the majority of cases I've heard about in recent history come from the left.

All that really means is we have more verifiable data on one more than the other, you can't account for the unaccountable. So the question becomes "Are the public schools better because they catch the predators more often or are they worse because they have more predators overall?" This couldn't be answered unless the real numbers on the Church came out, which we would never know the truth of even with an investigation & convictions, given that it's not public & well hidden.

I'm going to take an educated guess it's the churches having at least the same, if not more. The shit Meech and RimJob did to enable their sex pest son is not uncommon in these circles, neither is the victim blaming. Guarentee Josh isnt the only sex pest in the Duggar family even.

My mother who was from a small shithole in Texas told me as a kid about the practice of stumping- where they would take a suspected kiddy diddler out into the woods and soak a stump in oil. Then they would drive a few nails through their balls and set the stump on fire and hand them a knife. Of course the option was theirs as to their fate and with no medical response team anywhere near. This needs to be brought back. Hell they didn’t even stop the practice I guess until the 60s if they even did. But I think it would make a great reality show. Lifetime could replace this shit with that and make a fortune.
