It's heartbreaking and extremely depressing how often this happens with mother's not sticking up for their daughters.

Usually, it's a mother being selfish, not wanting to be "alone" and without "her man", when they take their scumbag husband or boyfriend's side over their own flesh and blood children.

It's weird how instead of a shitty, dysfunctional family going through this, it's a wealthy family who probably appears ordinary for the most part to people on the outside looking in.

If it wasn't for the tv shows and all the media attention, we wouldn't even know much about their fake Christian, cultish ways where they live more like fundamentalist muslim savages in the middle east than any normal members of Western Civilization.

Very sad situation. I hope the asshole, creep son pays dearly. I have zero sympathy for people who hurt children.

A lot of the federal prison sex offender programs rely on group therapy and group interaction. Even high profile chomos in federal prison like Subway Jared aren’t in solitary.

Also, there was a case in federal chino prison where one inmate DREW child porn for another child porn prisoner. They definitely have interaction with one another.

Convictions for sex crimes are the most likely to be appealed but the least likely to be overturned. A lot of people don't want to admit what they did and will gladly keep pissing money away on hopeless appeals so they can keep pretending to be innocent. Sounds familiar.

As an aside, how the fuck do you pronounce Bobbye?

I don't think Jim Bob molested kids. For someone who's a father many times over, he doesn't even really seem to like doing normal kid stuff like playing with a ball or taking the boys out in the woods to look at leaves/find mushrooms/shoot squirrels. He seems genuinely attracted to Michelle and really into his career/himself. His degree of extroversion makes me think he probably seeks a lot of interaction with/confirmation from the people he's around the most, which tells me it isn't his children. Josh, on the other hand, in Whatever Kids and Counting, absolutely hangs on the little girls. It's not uncommon for a couple of siblings with ten plus years between them to have a very affectionate relationship, but it's usually centered around the relationship itself, like a teenager having seen their toddler brother/sister be born and feeling sort of like a parent because they enjoy just a LITTLE of the responsibility. Josh seems to just like little girls. It's just a sexual preference, just a horrible one that should be stopped.

Also, if Jim Bob molested the kids, telling on Josh would have accomplished nothing, because IT'S JUST ANOTHER WAY TO LOVE PEOPLE!
 
Good. Glad they got him. I was worried they wouldn’t throw the book at him. Do we know the judge that’s involved in sentencing? I’m optimistic now but I’ve been burned by false hope before.

Hope his wife finally snaps to and comes out of her fucking denial and realizes what a monster this guy was. Hope his kids will be okay.
 
So let me see if I can get this straight from an outsider's perspective at the laziest glance and from vague memory.
  1. He has a history of rape.
  2. His rape victims were small girls.
  3. The small girls were immediate, blood relatives.
  4. He has many children, IDK how many daughters.
  5. He got caught red-handed with multiple cheese pizzas.
  6. His own wife was "stoic", aka not exactly broken up to hear that he's being separated from her and their kids, implying some dark shit under the circumstances.
And yet he wants to appeal his case?
Are his children going to be professionally evaluated for an extended period of time to try to figure out if they've been molested? If not, I'll lose what little hope I just gained for our justice system.
