I wouldn't worry about that in the slightest. All KF does is aggregate publicly available information about these individuals from other sources and then provide commentary on and interpretation of that information. Not to mention the anti-SLAPP considerations that shut a lot of suits down before they even start.

The best Dong Gone could do is go through DMCA because of the off chance one of his hideous photos was copyrighted and available for lawfare.

The edge cases in this get a bit fuzzy. Sure, I’d keep Hasan Piker in the normal lolcow board, but where would you put the Young Turks thread? It’s nominally centered around people like Cenk Uyghur and Ana Kasparian—who are somewhere between high profile and internet famous—but their thread also covers the literally-whos associated with their network and crazies like Kyle Kulinski. But even if we put that aside, I’m not sure why Azealia Banks would be in this new board but Cenk Uyghur wouldn’t, based on first principles.

I like the idea but I do worry about moderation, especially for the political cows. It might harder to keep those threads on topic when the board starts attracting a wider audience of posters that are not used to open conversation and farmers defending their opinions uh, vigorously.
