Add yourself ambling pearl, backward clock, the revive mechanics of the TCorp collectors, and finish it all off with forced stagger mechanics and you got yourself a deal.Three copies of - You want to get beat? Hurtily? - then it follows up with two copies of Skin Prophet.
That doesn't happen anymore after the first timeIt must suck to be Greg and have a itchy nutsack.
The will of the city has had enough of the wholesome chungus 100 power of friendship and sends distorted Yan and the 3 proxies from Ruina, who all manifest EGO, and beat the shit out of everyone until faith to the prescripts improveAnyone have any idea of how they might subvert expectations in Part 3?
Sora is (was) Araya with an ID equipped, trvst the plAn.The will of the city has had enough of the wholesome chungus 100 power of friendship and sends distorted Yan and the 3 proxies from Ruina, who all manifest EGO, and beat the shit out of everyone until faith to the prescripts improve
Realistically I doubt they will subvert expectations in a meaningful way. The colours will probably take care of most adversaries and open up the path for LCB because that's "Dante's/the sinner's fate," who will fight Rien and maybe some other Nursefathers/apprentices if we're lucky. There may be some shock value with the kid, like the theories that the kid is the Pinky Nursefather we fought. I guess that could be a bit of a twist but from what I've seen a lot of people are expecting something along that line
The sinner's stories all follow their actual counterparts (admittedly to a widely varying degree of accuracy) so we tend to know a fair bit of how the story will go, but there's still the possibility for PM to deviate from the source material and mog us with a twist like Ryoshu being a schizo who never had a kid
Well for one thing, I don't really think it'll be a subversion if the raid goes wrong. For everything people have been talking about "le avengers moment." or whatever incomprehensible soyspeak you use, from Part 1 Ryoshu's been talking about how this is whole set up is obviously a trap. So I fully expect it to be a trap of some sort, besides the LCA have been shown to be relative fodder when compared to our current Sinners. They weren't even able to mount a fight against Rein, and he like all of the evil dad squad, has a permanently crippling wound and is no longer a SotC. That and Vespa just isn't as strong as Vergilius or even Kong, as despite being with Moses and learning Shin, he (like Ezra) hasn't fully manifested his EGO.Anyone have any idea of how they might subvert expectations in Part 3?
If it even happens, atleast.
In Part 2's ending, we got a whole speech and scene telling us just how many people we have helping out with raiding the House of Spiders. Even fuckass Bamboo Hatted Kim is here. But most importantly, 2 Colors, Verg and Vespa, which could take on the entire House on their own. Oh and also all of LCA, LCD, LCE...
Unless PM really just does go along with the power of friendship avengers assemble ending for the Canto and they just have it be bloodshed, how do you think they might still have a dark or grim twist here? It seems too good to be true. The easiest thing I can think of is just Rien holding Araya hostage and threatening to kill her if they don't listen to him or something, but I still think LC's forces are too much for even that.
It also depends on the size of the House of Spiders tbf, but given there's only 5 Nursefathers and apprentices I don't expect it to be something like the Tiekan temple.
Maybe they'll split up the cast again, and make use of Malkuth's sapling of light ability?
I also don't think anything could happen to Araya at this point, unless they've indoctrinated her or already hooked her up to whatever BodyHorrorMachine™ they have in this Canto in the short amount of time they had, though I think Ryoshu will end up handing her over to the LCD eitherway (if araya lives, which is very likely), abandoning her for the second time
This line though, at the end of Part 2, is still pretty weird to me. It's a bit too on the nose.

Ryoshu is a time traveler and is her own mother.Anyone have any idea of how they might subvert expectations in Part 3?
That would be incredibly kino and actually makes sense, but KJH is too bitchmade to do itRyoshu is a time traveler and is her own mother.
This is guaranteed to happen because Araya has 5 letters. You know what else has 5 letters? Ryos.. ah fuck, well Araya's name is phonetically identical to Alaya (Alaya-vijnana) and in Buddhism the Alaya is the consciousness that stores your karma from past lives which means Ryoshu reincarnated or some shiieet, trust the process for real.Ryoshu is a time traveler and is her own mother.
Ryoshu went to the undersea dance but instead of trusting Faust, she molested her self in the car with a ziplock bag full of random jizz she found in Applebees dumpster.Ryoshu is a time traveler and is her own mother.
They already subverted it a little bit, the Malkuth bit being out of turn, breaking, and changing nothing while putting everyone else at risk is a great example of what was touched on a bit in Leviathan. "Flow".Anyone have any idea of how they might subvert expectations in Part 3?
