Not sure if there has ever been any major scientific study on the relation between sexual trauma and porn work, or even a large poll on how many sex workers have sexual trauma of some kind in their past.
There have been several, only problem is that from what I've seen(and this is old info) they have been driven by reaffirming ideology and both sides of the aisle are guilty of doing that. So you can read the one that says 95% of women in porn were molested/raped which is way more than the one in four average or you can read the one that says that only 5% were molested/raped which is well below the 1/4 average so... Shady numbers all around.

With the current woke sex positivism I don't think you are going to read much about "sex workers" doing it because of childhood sexual trauma or because they turned to drugs after being raped and had to come up with money somehow.

Seriously, it's all going to be shills like that Asa Akira shit a few pages ago. The amazing part is the reddit typea are going to asspat one another about how much they did to normalize sex work, yet all they did is lead more young girls into being abused...

Dammit, I should have sent that coomer guy from yesterday in here. He would have fit right in. Next time he makes an alt.

All these guys talking about missing soft-core porn for pages and pages on end, I guess I should point out that there is one country where old fashioned soft-core porn is alive and well, and that's South Korea. You see, like Japan, SK has laws on porn, but their even more strict in Japan, as in, normal porn isn't legal to produce there at all. Not even the censored stuff Japan makes with the mosaics. Apparently its not legal to show full genitalia at all; look up any Korean cam girl on porn sites, and guaranteed, even if she's doing things like masturbating, she will never show her vagina; its always just out of frame or obscured by something, even as she's rubbing it off.

As a result, there is a thriving industry of what is essentially independent films doubling as soft-core porn, complete with the cheesy soap opera story lines. In fact, look up Korea porn on Xvideos, guarantee a lot of them will be the soft core stuff. The funny thing is, if you know a lot about Korean cinema, Korean cinema are like European films in that they have a lot sex in them. Like a lot. To the point it can be hard to tell the difference between the mainstream films and the softcore, aside from maybe production values. General rule of them; most Korean porn videos start with, what I assume, is some kind of content warning screen, that's just a blank white screen with a red circle , and a bunch of other shapes and words on it. I don't read Korean, so I don't know what they say, but if you see a vid with a red circle on a white background, congratulations, you found soft-core Korean porn. I would link to examples, but I decided against it since all links would be NSFW.

In other news, Nobita from Japan interviewed another Japanese AV idol, except this time, he interviewed a westerner. The JAV actress's name is June Lovejoy; never heard of her before the vid nor have I seen any of her vids, though I think she's been working since 2019 or something like that. She's from California, but, apparently according to the Youtube commenters, her parents are German, so she speaks English with a noticeable German accent. She gives her own insight on the Japanese porn industry. Her German background and general appearance kind of reminds me Keekihime/Hololive's Kiara Takahashi. Maybe she's a vision of what Kiara could have become had she gone the porn route:

One of the more eyebrow raising things she brings up is that she was raped...twice. Once in America and once in Japan. Yes, she got raped twice in two different countries and she's only 24! She just kind of glosses over it, like its the most normal thing in the world to bring up in an interview. One has to wonder if her rape experiences played a role in her doing porn. Hypersexuality is a common response to sexual trauma. Not sure if there has ever been any major scientific study on the relation between sexual trauma and porn work, or even a large poll on how many sex workers have sexual trauma of some kind in their past.
Man, been a fan of this chick for awhile now

Man, Nobita needs to slow down with these interviews. Dude's at it again: another pornstar interview. This time, its Mahiro Tadai, a relatively new starlet who, nonetheless, has made quite a big splash in the industry. She's only 20 years old and cute as a button. This isn't a very heavy interview: its extremely light hearted and tongue in cheek, a little something to liven up a thread that can broach pretty heavy topics. That being said, I find her considering her boyfriend talking to a female friend in certain ways to be cheating, while at the same time being okay with him going to a brothel, to be hilarious (background information to clarify this point: the Japanese have very...interesting ideas regarding cheating, something Nobita himself has made videos on in the past. Many Japanese do not see a man visiting a brothel to be cheating. For many Japanese women, as long as the man doesn't form a relationship with the woman in question or he keeps it out of her sight, she's okay with it. This mentality can also be found in China and Korea (Laowhy81 has talked about it in regards to the former in one of his videos). Of course, this isn't universal, but its worth noting regardless):

There are actually evolutionary reasons behind this being a thing anywhere. For a man, the ultimate betrayal is usually his woman performing the sexual act with another man. In prehistory, there was no way for him to know after that if he was dedicating his life and resources to support his own genetic offspring or someone else's. In contrast, for a prehistoric woman the emotional betrayal was the much more serious infidelity. Because a man who sleeps around with no commitment could possibly father a child, yes, but if he falls in love with a different woman he might dedicate himself (and his resources) to her instead of his partner, and that would spell death for his partner and her children.

Obviously nobody likes infidelity, weirdos with fetishes or "poly" freaks aside. But studies have found these are the things that upset men and women the most about infidelity.

I guess Japanese women just have to be happy they can find men who are interested in sex at all...

Sounds like porn is the place where film rejects ends up. Wasn’t there a Family Guy episode that played around with that idea?
The video game industry is the place film rejects end up now.

I tried, really tried, to masturbate to Japanese porn but girls moaning like 3yo girls kill my boner faster than Hillary Clinton pegging Bill. I'd rather watch a Legalporno horse-cock tranny anal gangbang.

Rape victims I talked about it IRL usually glossed over it, too. IIRC rape victims in Africa had a hard time with American reporters - they talked about it like it was Tuesday and reporters didn't believe they were actually raped. Soldiers who fought in WWII Stalingrad usually gloss over it, too.

Damn good analogy.

nah, I prefer someone more mentally stable
Pump and dump for sure just to say that I did it. Besides the mental instability, you are going to have to compete in bed with her co-workers who are hired specifically because they are a) generally muscular/good looking and b) have large penises. There is a reason why almost every irl boyfriend/husband of a pornstar is either a co-worker or looks like and is a massive cuck.

Matter of fact, if she does some escorting on the side (as most pornstars do), if you can afford it, you can certainly have your way with her.

Lana Rhoades is one of those porn stars whose looks visibly deteriorate the longer she's in the industry. If you look at pictures of her when she first started, she looks happy and normal. Now she's a plastic surgery casualty and the degradation of her mental health shines through every single picture. I just don't understand, is the money worth your happiness and sanity?

I'd take her for a spin on a weekend and then get rid of her. Just to have that notch on my belt.
If it flies, floats, or fucks...

I just don't understand, is the money worth your happiness and sanity?
The hours are relatively short, the money's pretty good, and if you're a people person, it's just an added bonus!

Seriously, though, Lana Rhoades might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but she understands that her life's prospects were either
  • putting her feet in the air in front of a camera
  • sucking the chrome off of a trailer hitch with some wealthy elderly man
...and that was about it.

All these guys talking about missing soft-core porn for pages and pages on end,
That's because the girls in the 90s and early 00s heyday of softcore porn movies were, by and large, very attractive glamorous looking women with great hair and faces and bodies and if they did have a boobjob it looked good. also the scenes were usually shot with a care for the cinematography and with the aim of being sensual. quality lighting, quality sets, quality everything. the male actors were usually handsome and classy looking too.

compare to the fucked out drugged out cheap boobjob skank look and disregard of quality in general because quality is more production cost that has more or less dominated american (not european) porn for the last 10-15 years. that has always existed in hardcore porn, but it wasn't nearly all that was available from one of the major porn producing areas (north america) like it is today

That JAV where she plays a flight attendant was kino.
Is this the one where they fuck on the plane that is midflight?

Mentioned this before in this thread but the 1st episode of Hot Girls Wanted covers this. Follows 2 female porn directors who want to film porn that is along the lines of good looking women with storylines, only for it not to be so profitable and they end up losing to the en mass "just fuck" scenes that are common in most porn now.
