All these guys talking about missing soft-core porn for pages and pages on end, I guess I should point out that there is one country where old fashioned soft-core porn is alive and well, and that's South Korea. You see, like Japan, SK has laws on porn, but their even more strict in Japan, as in, normal porn isn't legal to produce there at all. Not even the censored stuff Japan makes with the mosaics. Apparently its not legal to show full genitalia at all; look up any Korean cam girl on porn sites, and guaranteed, even if she's doing things like masturbating, she will never show her vagina; its always just out of frame or obscured by something, even as she's rubbing it off.
As a result, there is a thriving industry of what is essentially independent films doubling as soft-core porn, complete with the cheesy soap opera story lines. In fact, look up Korea porn on Xvideos, guarantee a lot of them will be the soft core stuff. The funny thing is, if you know a lot about Korean cinema, Korean cinema are like European films in that they have a lot sex in them. Like a lot. To the point it can be hard to tell the difference between the mainstream films and the softcore, aside from maybe production values. General rule of them; most Korean porn videos start with, what I assume, is some kind of content warning screen, that's just a blank white screen with a red circle , and a bunch of other shapes and words on it. I don't read Korean, so I don't know what they say, but if you see a vid with a red circle on a white background, congratulations, you found soft-core Korean porn. I would link to examples, but I decided against it since all links would be NSFW.
In other news, Nobita from Japan interviewed another Japanese AV idol, except this time, he interviewed a westerner. The JAV actress's name is June Lovejoy; never heard of her before the vid nor have I seen any of her vids, though I think she's been working since 2019 or something like that. She's from California, but, apparently according to the Youtube commenters, her parents are German, so she speaks English with a noticeable German accent. She gives her own insight on the Japanese porn industry. Her German background and general appearance kind of reminds me Keekihime/Hololive's Kiara Takahashi. Maybe she's a vision of what Kiara could have become had she gone the porn route:

One of the more eyebrow raising things she brings up is that she was raped...twice. Once in America and once in Japan. Yes, she got raped twice in two different countries and she's only 24! She just kind of glosses over it, like its the most normal thing in the world to bring up in an interview. One has to wonder if her rape experiences played a role in her doing porn. Hypersexuality is a common response to sexual trauma. Not sure if there has ever been any major scientific study on the relation between sexual trauma and porn work, or even a large poll on how many sex workers have sexual trauma of some kind in their past.
