ORAS also got rid of the female triathletes, for some odd reason. Maybe GameFreak today has something against showing women of stronger builds? I don't know to be honest.

You mean like Battle Girls, who were in ORAS?

It's hard to say they don't like athletic girls when they introduced a female athlete gym leader the same time.

Yup, GF loves their fit girls, alright!
 
I love Johto and it is one of my favorite regions. That said there is something about it that is very lacking. It has a lot of style and a fantastic aesthetic but at the same time has no substance. I can’t really put my finger on it. It’s not just due to Kanto either, Johto is so anemic and bare. HGSS slightly fixes it but that empty feeling is still there.

Kanto is the exact same way, at first I gave it a pass due to being the first region and limited hardware but after playing frlg and lgpe the design flaws just become more obvious. I know it will never happen but I wish GF would redesign both regions to keep them up to date.
