Pretty much the Exclusive attacks.

There are some that have differences that matter (G-max fireball vs Max Flare) and...the stupid Steel/Dragon thing's G-max move actually looks to be worse than a normal Max Dragon type attack (Attack Reduction vs draining 2 pp)
It's just a shame that some mons in particular like Butterfree, who's been wanting the treatment Beedrill got for years, got stuck with the gimmick mechanic that didn't help it out competitively whatsoever.

it isn't like Mega-evolution helped Beedrill.

Mega-Bedrill has a stat pool shallower than most good non Megas (495, which is less than most 3rd stages of Starters) and Bug is a shit type to be honest. Butterfree's Typing is even more unfortunate. It is weak to..basically all the good offensive typings(with 4X weakness to Stealth Rock, which is almost a no-go on it's own) and..offense has been the name of the pokemon game since weather got nerfed.

UU is a far cry from untiered purgatory.

In other news.

And climbing to add. Over 150k at the time of this post.

I heard it's explained that it's due to nintendo deleting streams after they are finished uploading to cut them out into chunks, so due to Presents and federation being the same video all the way through (fed being uploaded separately while presents was just a premiere of an upload) it was able to accrue dislikes quickly.
still funny as hell though that somehow happened

does your average joe hardcore pokemon fan really know about tencent and it's pull over video game companies though?
More than you'd think. Tencent has become quite infamous as the company 1-Uping EA as the worst ever, and as already pointed out the Kung Flu has only put China as a whole under more public scrutiny. All of my circles are well aware of their dealings as a personal example.

Tencent is unfairly maligned, though. Actually extremely good company. Most of these downvotes are probably American bots.
I am not gonna scream "Nintendo man bad" because they are making a Moba based off a popular IP, this is shit that they have always done with Pokemon (Pinball anyone?) but Tencent are downright scumbags and always have been.

It sums up a lot of Game Freak's choices, doesn't it? Introduce a new mechanic that's rough around the edges but could become something really cool. Then, rather than expand upon or refine it, just completely scrap it, never mention it again and introduce a new, equally barebones mechanic in the next game.
I actually forgot sky battles were even a thing until it was mentioned here again, and the only reason I still remember triple and rotation battles is cause you had those battle facilities using them.

That is cause they were sort of awful.

I mean really, the only actual battle format Gamefreak gives a shit about is double battles.

Why the fuck did so many people still want Gen 4 remakes to begin with? I'd rather have a shitty cashgrab everyone agrees is a shitty cashgrab than yet another overpriced and polarizingly disappointing game that makes me feel sad

Was ORAS and let's go really all that bad? I agree that US/UM were pretty unnecessary (if you want to consider those games remakes), but I've played ORAS myself and it was a pretty fun time for me (granted I've never played gen 3 prior to that, but still).
