True, but keep in mind that some players prefer not to get into the whole breeding aspect of pokemon in order to get certain moves. Really I think putting that move to Pichu's move pool was just so that not only is there an alternative to getting that kind of move for Pikachu, but also to give the babymons more purpose beyond just being a product of breeding pokemon.

Just in case? I'll download the files and check to make sure they are all the beta files cause I might see if others can save these on the main website itself. Who knows? GameFreak or Nintendo might try to sue KiwiFarms. But what are the odds of that happening?

It's a 15+ year old game —nobody is making money out of it and nobody will lose any money if you rip out sprites or share the sprites from an unreleased or closed released beta version of a 15+ year old game.

Sitting or hoarding gaming history because of mah unofficial sources is plainly exceptional.

If Nintendo/GF was smart they would release a collector's book with high resolution beta sprites and concept art. There's no point in looking at some low resolution sprite on this case.

It's Pokemon.
The fans would buy official merch no matter what.

Also, can't remember where in the thread I've seen someone say Helixchamber are being assholes who're sitting on things instead of releasing'em, just wanted to note: I like their site and analysis stuff and whatnot, but people who keep RacieB on the team after she singlehandedly tanked their entire position in fandom probably do not have their priorities straight.
 
Has anything more come of people reviving mons from the dead in SWSH? I get that there's not much point now since most of them will eventually be back but I'm curious since I haven't seen anything since around the launch date. Though it probably all got DMCA'd or whatever.

RacieB is indeed a troublemaker. HelixChamber hasn’t made any new tweets since the leaks came out. Guess they worried for a huge lawsuit from Nintendo. At this point? You might as well get Anonymous to hack them hard.

I remember when HGSS was in development and RacieB bitched nonstop about the revamped art. She kept whining that Sugimori “wasn’t even trying anymore” with his art simply because he was no longer drawing in the watercolor style she has a boner over. God forbid people change their style and not draw in the exact same way for over a decade. I can understand preferring one style over another but she acted so offended that Sugimori wasn’t catering to her tastes. Seeing how she handled this whole rom hack situation just further proves my case that she has entitlement issues. I always felt that she came off as someone who thought they were better than the official artists.

I remember her being bitter about HGSS itself in general. She is also friends with Bogleech so tale that as you will.

I going be blunt and say this info will never be released though official means especially coming from companies like Nintendo and Gamefreak they are more like to keep it under raps for as long as both companies are in business anyone who thinks like this are very oblivious.

If I have to guess? It has to do with the emails from the 90s that revealed the embarrassing past of Junichi Masuda. Could be one of those reasons. Another reason that it could be trolls pretending to be Nintendo. But that ones also a huge Stretch as some hackers had said Nintendo are behind the takedowns and not some troll who did it for lulz. So I cannot wait until Nintendo tries to sue KiwiFarms for a retarded reason.

I wonder who's behind this leak, according to the story wack0 hacked into Nintendo servers only to take a shit ton of Pokemon stuff and ONLY Pokemon stuff and bounce. He didn't have save anything related to Zelda or the like. I know there's screencaps on /vp/ archives but god I don't wanna look through shit.
