Also, Do people like the Machamp line?
Plenty do, though the focus is more on Machoke.... probably because he has a normal amount of arms.

Oh my God, for reals? I actually had to get up to walk around for a few minutes to collect my thoughts, this baffled me so much. This is sheer laziness. I take it 3D modeling is still "new territory" for the sprite-makers, but how did no one look at this and go "That looks like shit"? This is what fucking amateurs do, and it's usually the first mistake that gets corrected real fast once you get the hang of 3D modeling. Taking away vertices will change the polygon, but adding to what's already absolute doesn't immediately conform the polygons into another shape, and is a waste of data. This is just to fool not just the system but also the higher-ups/newbies who don't know what they're looking for but will let it pass as long as it looks "smooth" when rendered in HD.

Is this a carryover of the 3DS model or from Let's Go?

I have no idea how SWSH defenders could have possibly thought they were going to win the argument over the Pokemon models/graphics in the long run give that this was going to come out *eventually*. Now we have complete and total knowledge that they not only fibbed about completely reconstructing every fucking model from X and Y, they also went out and made them worse and wasted so much time and resources for no reason.

The "You don't understand how the industry/animating works" crowd is going to have to hold this fucking L if they genuinely want to save face and not look like raving white knights for Game Freak, because there's no excuses now.

This whole serebii tag is probably just to deflect from that

the best move in the history of the series, Syncronoise (does anyone even this move was a thing)?
People (especially in the competitive scene) were aware the move existed, but I think most don't know about the move because of the little use you can get out of it.

>Base-100-power Special Psychic-type Move

Alright, sounds pretty dec-

>Only hits pokemon that share the user's typing

I'm sorry what?

Yeah, the major thing about the move that kept people from using it was that strict target requirement and it doesn't help that most pokemon that had access to this move were psychic types, a typing that resist their own moves (which in this case included Synchronoise). The only way that a pokemon could get some use out of it was if they could change their typing to match the opponent's (but of course they'll loss the STAB and, in some cases, leave themselves vulnerable to their opponent's attacks). The only pokemon that came close to that was Kekleon, but he didn't have a reliable way of changing it's typing (besides maybe protean).

I mean, I never doubted it but I'm still a bit surprised. Also, Do people like the Machamp line?
They, like many pokemon, have their fans. Hell, I knew a pokemon youtuber that liked them.

I honestly have no idea what this is obviously its a wireframe of a charizard but i have no clue what the person is saying. The models in game look fine but i guess the annoyance is because GF said they cut pokemon to make the models better and this says otherwise?
The models are not only not improved, their filesize is artificially inflated through what appears to be sheer incompetence.

He's saying that the models had uselessly added complexity that wouldn't result in any visual improvement. It would only make the models balloon in wasted file size.

Well that was rather dumb now wasn't it GF..

So I'm better off saving money and just get Untitled Goose Game, huh.

I'm just going to pocket the money until I find something I really want. It'll probably go towards a PS2 or Banjo-Tooie should it ever appear on the shelves of the used game stores I frequent every now and then.

All the models in Let's Go are basically identical to their 3DS counterparts as far as I understand. This whole Sword & Shield thing is really baffling though.... the models appear to be exactly the same yet they aren't. Could that fucked up model importer story really be true?

I fucking hate joe ao fucking much.
you don't like Pokemon maytar man? TBH it's shills like him that make me not want to touch the games, not the """toxic""" fan base but him trying to cover for game freak so hard it kinda ruins shit

I wonder which event caused it; harsh sunlight fading soon after one KO or double KO with sunlight fading in between. Kinda reminds me of the fainted glitch in BW combined with HG/SS's anti-piracy lock.

Addendum: apparently the guy was modding with code or some shit, not fully sure how it would effect the battle system fully so in retrospect keep that in mind. IDK how they were able to put cheats in the game this early, thought it would take weeks.

It's a rather disheartening trend I am seeing across the entertainment industry where creators, the media, and their shills take shots at the "toxic" fan base. That is not to say there aren't bad actors--much of the Dexit debacle was overblown and Game Freak employees did receive verbal harassment. However, this is not merely a FAN problem but a CUSTOMER one. As the people who are shelling out OUR money for YOUR game we are well within our rights to expect a quality product and call you out when you fuck up. The relationship is ultimately transactional and if I feel that I'm not getting my money's worth, then I can take those dollars/pounds/yen elsewhere.

Wankers like Joe deride fans as entitled tossers who should be grateful that Game Freak is gracing us with another game. No, it is more likely the other way around. I'm seeing more and more creators who act like their shit doesn't stink and GF is--frankly--acting completely clueless. We've seen it with Ghostbusters (2016) and Terminator: Dark Fate where the directors attacked the fan base, and guess who refused to pay to see it in theaters? If GF and Joe want to hide behind the aegis of "Muh horse mint!" then they deserve what's coming to them.
