So a super pixelated pokemon leaked on the site due to an error, bottom right. Someone on reddit drew what they thought it might be. Honestly, if that's true then I'm more hyped.

Also.... I want more mimikyu forms if Alcremie gets so many I want BulbaMimi
People have been wanting a samurai-style Farfetchd evolution since at least before Sun and Moon so Im also hyped. It was like a fan idea for an evolution I read somewhere and I loved it.

Reminder that on the 29th they're going to reveal more about the anime reboot that takes place in all regions (maybe finally following in the manga's footsteps and following a different protagonist for each one). With this revelation there's not a doubt in my mind Ash is finally done as a character. Good riddance.

I'd kill for a Pokemon Special/Adventures anime adaptation but Game Freak hates easy money

It makes you wonder why they stuck with him for so long, compared to say, the Yu-Gi-Oh series where they change out the protagonist, supporting, and antagonist characters every few years or so.

I think he got robbed the most in the last League, personally.

Nah, Indigo was the biggest crock when it came to plot Screwing Ash, Charizard being like "LOLNO" was stupid shit. That entire sideplot was asstastic.

"hey Faggot I legit saved your life when everyone thought you were worthless, how about you do your damn job."

Yeaaah, Don't..look to Yu-Gi-Oh for advice on how to carry on an anime, the current one is managing to make the ending of Arc-V seem fantastic..and the ending of Arc-V was a fucking dumpster fire on par with Naurto and Bleach.

I guess I give Indigo some slack because it was the first one and I didn’t expect him to immediately win. Kalos just sucked because he had a really solid team, including a brand new exclusive form Pokemon, and lost to a guy affiliated with the villains and collected all his badges in less a week, only deciding to take on the league because “meh, could be interesting”.

Kalos also had some of the best League battle animations to date, so I’m probably a bit biased about that part too.

I don’t think it was sticking with Ash so much as it was sticking with their mascot character and most recognizable Pokémon, Pikachu.

Sounds like a season with some inter-regional version of Battle Frontier

I'm guessing it's a combination of Ash being very well received with viewers and the fact Pokemon continued for far longer than they orginally planned for (remember, it was supposed to end with the 3rd movie), so the makers couldn't switch him out with a new protagonist at that point. Also probably because the Raikou special kinda went… bleh.

Actually, it was originally supposed to end with the first movie. An interview made way back when revealed Ash was supposed to win the Indigo league and the Mewtwo movie would take place after that as a grand finale. The original Japanese trailer for the movie also had nothing but scenes not in the final version, the most striking being being the appearance of an adult Misty.

When Pokemon got a lot bigger than they originally planned, they decided to go through the continuous cycle of making ash the forever loser because they felt that if he ever won a league, the show, and thus the gravy train, would be over because he reached his goal.

Unrelated but the song used in that trailer is called "Fantasy in your pocket." I get the context, but that's such an awkward thing to say.

Bit of an update on the Pokemon twitter regarding sword and shield.
