I was hoping for them to release what the starter Pokemon would evolve into but I like the updates so far.

I'm sorry, but is no one gonna mention that they gave a pokemon with an already preexisting two form evolution line a third evolution? That hasn't happened since Gen 4. Suddenly, the possibility of Pokemon like Farfetch'd, Rapidash, and Heliolisk getting another evolution doesn't seem so crazy.

It was already mentioned last page, but the initial leak that's been getting everything correct involved exactly that for the first one. Farfetch'd is going to get both a Galarian form and an evolution of said form called Sirfetch'd. And with Obstagoon's existence it's just further evidence.
 
Does anyone else think Obstagoon resembles Gene Simmons of KISS? A Pokemon party based of rock bands or rock music in general will be cool to have when the games are released.

Pretty sure everyone noticed that, seeing as the galarian zigzagoon line's design seems to be inspired by Kiss.
 
honestly i really like the new weezing. the linoone evolution is kinda neat , i hope we get more cross gen evos. still probably not getting the game though.
 
So quick couple questions.

Is Riolu/lucario in? and if so can they be found in the wild like in the france one?

And they nuked mega evolution right?
 
My bet is that Team Yell is just a small group of joke villains and given that Marnie is just your rival and not an outright villain, they will probably help you and her fight the main villain later on in the game.

If they are the main villain group of the game, then it might just solidify Sword and Shield as the worst games in the series.

While I understand they probably wouldn't be the best villains in the franchise, the fact that they would be the main villains really wouldn't solidify much. Besides, aside from them being crazy fans of Marnie, we're not really sure what these guys would be like at the moment.
 
Like Smokestack Weezing, like Zigzagzoon's third form, lost me with Hangry Mode, won me back with Soccer Hooligan's enemy Team.

Lucario was in the very first trailer of the game if that answers your question. And yes, megas plus Z-moves are completely axed, along with probably half the national dex as I'm sure you're aware.

Its either the evil Chairman is pushing Marnie to be the new champ for his agenda cause the current one is opposing him somewhere and team yell is just there cause marnie, Team yell is just the jobber villains to deflect suspicion like team Skull, or Marnie is actually evil.

I saw the latest SwSh video and I quite liked the Galarian forms of Zigzagoon and Weezing. But I was expecting Obstagoon to be based off a different pattern (since Zigzagoon has zigzags and Linoone has linear streaks on its body)-at least there's a Pokemon with a unique typing

It went from essentially moving in certain patterns to just bring an obstacle. Didn't expect it either, but to be fair, where can it go from moving in straight lines? Circlgoon? Wavigoon?
