Some fan game called Pokemon Pathways is going through some drama, so much so that someone made a
big ass document that I'm not going to read it thoroughly because I'm not terminally online nor do I really give a fuck about whatever is going on beyond the amusement factor. From what I knew before I peaked at the document, most of the outrage was him and others being big meanies, because of course they would fixate on that and nothing else. That fat nigger SacredAlmighty even covered it.
Some dev was not contributing enough on github (not sure what he did exactly and they don't seem to show what he
did contribute), rushed others allegedly, he gave playtesters an update build and told them to playtest it within a week, then later gave them a small update build to playtest within two days, both of which to me seems reasonable and sounds like someone who wants shit done in a timely fashion (because of
seemingly wanting things done within a timely fashion they blame him for any bugs due to not letting them "get to it when they get to it" that trannies love to do).
He wanted to give Sceptile protean for shits and giggles (something about wanting Sceptile to be more "ninja") that came across as a joke, which some devs got
really pissed and passive aggressive about, he showed a screenshot about some random ass AI summary that Google gives you when you ask a question and now they're spinning it as him using generative AI for more than just that one-off (potential) joke. He was pretty light-hearted about it but clearly got more upset as the other devs kept sperging out.
More skimming so I'm probably misinterpreting things but it seems like whenever he tries to tell other devs about some of his ideas they aggressively shut him down instead of actually engaging the idea and why it may or may not work. "No, we're not doing that, I'm not going to communicate this to the other devs but I'm sure they'll agree with me and tell you to fuck off too."
The dev (who I realized it called "Born") rightfully tells them (which I noticed he has done multiple times to multiple devs) he doesn't shut them down immediately even if he doesn't like the idea. To put this in perspective, apparently one of the other devs wanted to try some sort of idea based off
this version of SCP-001 for the game (huh, new layout), which apparently wasn't outlandish enough compared to whatever Born was thinking of lol (something about hybrids, he liked "mad scientist" stuff from what I'll get to in a moment). Bunch of cry-bullies. Then there was something about a stolen sprite but even after reading it
slightly more thoroughly I'm a bit confused and am currently wondering if whoever wrote this is having a stroke.
One thing I will shit on him for is this...freaky little conversation regarding a Lopunny and a Goodra, take a wild guess what they talked about. He then did some "muhahaha, I'm a mad scientist and made this Goodra sprite EVIL" shitpost which apparently turned into a big ass argument because...Born, a developer of the fucking game, made a tiny edit to a Mega Goodra another dev made (blacked out the eyes, that's it) for a shitpost and said an obvious joke about "fixing it" which turned into yet another heated argument over nothing. It must be tiring, you try to do something fun or funny (not the gooner shit, but even that barely lasted 5 minutes) that has no real consequences to the game or anything else and everyone throws a shitfit.
One of the jannies, instead of warning or muting a seemingly annoying user (of which I see no direct evidence of them being annoying), banned said user. Born would unban them and tell them "just warn and time them out next time, it's his last chance." This would be seen as "undermining the mods."
However, they accuse him of apparently has defending and unbanning another user several times who has allegedly (again no real proof) done "creepy pedo shit" such as talking about underage girls (which I don't see) and the age of consent so that's odd. That being said, the only proof I see of this user being creepy is him pointing out how the age of consent is lower in other places due to different cultures (which is true, those Asians are especially degenerate with kid shit). No context to the conversation (could be the user pointing out how some things are more appropriate in other places because of culture, could be pedo shit, who knows), and yet they flat out get pissy and delete his message over what I assume is him pointing out how strange shit like Redo of Healer and "Gushing over Magical Girls" can get a pass in the industry, the reason for the deletion being it's "highly controversial."
Born later banned one of the musicians of the fan game for "continuing to test me and another developer" (which to be fair to the musician, Born nor the other dev show proof). The musician in question "shared" what apparently started the argument that led to the ban but the screenshots shared seem to have nothing to do with anything so what the fuck? The musician asked for his work to be removed and planned on incorporating his work into another project, Born said no because "you knew that everything being made for Pathways is for Pathways only," and that's the end of that.
Born apparently refused to ban a user who supposedly harassed several other artists (no evidence lol) that one of the artists didn't finish the art Born asked them to do or something and instead did other people's first, baby drama shit. Some more random janny shit I don't care about, this is getting dull.
Oh here's something hilarious. One of the former developer's girlfriend in a VC with a few other people (including the now seemingly former dev and Born) expressed how uncomfortable she felt that her cousin got HER OWN SON A FUCKING DRESS and nearly called said cousin a fag to his face because of it. She openly states that she does not want her son getting
groomed by another family member (big no-no as that's one of the tranny main recruitment tactics for "eggs"), called timezones retarded (another big no-no) probably for messing up her sleep pattern or something, called California "upgraded India" (unfathomly based, get her a Kiwifarms account) due to its poor conditions, complaining about everything being overpriced and causing rampant homelessness, too many "undocumented bundle of sticks," shit talked LA women (too much attitude, ugly, and "all their points spec'd into their ass" or something), shit talked some random whore she saw ("shit our border let's less people in" kek), and other hilarious shit. Naturally this later started a heated argument which she kept being incredibly based which ended with several people getting pissy and passive aggressive since she was a dev's girlfriend and obviously wouldn't be banned. Oh and they're a gun enthusiast it seems, amazing.
Then someone got "doxxed." What happened was a community member was making a guide for the game but said user left the server, that person deleted the guide when getting rid of old files, Born said something along the lines of "this is what happens when you let the community make stuff, they can be deleted on a whim and we can't do anything about it." Born attempted to get some of the deleted stuff back, another dev sent an email to the person who deleted it and posted a screenshot them emailing the person which of course included the email of said person who trashed said stuff, Born said he did not condone the "doxxing" (literally just an email lol) but because he didn't scorch earth his fellow dev for "organizing a witch hunt" (which obviously never happened) he's literally Hitler. Then some dev posted some random videos talking about why men don't want to get married anymore and some random female psychology videos, so of course now they're the Devil too.
The rest of the document seems to be various hit pieces and slander from fellow devs who don't seem to show proof of anything they're saying. Lovely.
