I found out abou the game on Reddit, but I have not gotten around to actually playing the game.
I feel good that I did not, since a lot of stuff happened since I patched the ROM.
I am going to wait a little more at leas, though, since the latest release does not have the latest fixes, including a bug related to Fly.

Pitch Black preorders selling out really fast compared to Perfect oder (shelf rotting) and Chaos rising which is basically as doodoo as PO but at least has Ninja frog as the chase.
I guess this is the power of not having 90% of the cards shown to be absolute dogshit before the preorders open because Mega Darkrai is just as ugly as Mega Zygard and I doubt either have huge fans to want that chase.

The game graphics would look more spectacular, the music would have less midi trumpets and more midi electric guitars, game balance would be slightly harder, dungeons would be longer and filled with more complex HM puzzles, dialogue would often be longer and more meandering, and we'd have more designs like Braixen and Primarina earlier.

Honestly the entire Zygarde line is horrible
The little cells making up a big snake or what ever is cool I get behind this as a design.

But then for some reason its 10% forme which is before its 50% snake form is a doberman?

Then its 100% form is a mecha for some reason with X and Y legendary colors added, no theme at all

Then its mega of the 100% form its holding a big canon because fuck you the ZA story needed it I guess.

I can see this being the super weapon from the war 1000 years prior in Kalos, what Lysandre was trying to replicate, but now we’re just back to making Zyguard into another Kyurem.

I read it was supposed to be some Norse mythology reference. But I don't know how accurate that is. The snake being the Midgard serpent and the doberman being a reference to fenrir. Then what's the 100% form supposed to be?

Maybe the mega is holding a tree trunk since you can kinda vaguely see it as one. But it just looks like a weird canon to me.

I'm working on the ZA dex for the shiny volcanion...
and how the fuck do I get a portal with feebas? I've seen it in a fight, so it's not an entirely unknown mon in the dex, but it just does *not* show up, and it's pissing me off.

but now we’re just back to making Zyguard into another Kyurem.

Kyurem is just an empty husk that needs another pokemon to fuse with the be better (Reshiram/Zekrom), and AFAIK, Zyguard can't fuse with either Xerneas or Yvelta. The "XYZ" attack thing he has is a little odd though for a standalone Legendary.

Necrozma from SM/USUM is a better Kyurem comparison as it can fuse with either Solgaleo or Lunala. In fact, now that I'm looking at the Pokedex, so is Calyrex to an extent even though it's just one monster sitting ontop of another monster.... Kinda makes the whole "fusion" gimmic not-so unique and kinda lame now.

If anything, Zyguard is kinda like Rayquaza, in which it's powerful enough to tard-wrangle the two other legendaries of the trio if shit goes tits up
