It would also make your unwokeifying justified and more people could try it out.
…justified how?
Moreover, would that not cause some interference, since some of the hacks are untouched and others dewoked?

I would rather avoid playing Crystal for the 15th time, thank you.
I rated this post :agree:Agree since I agree wi the sentiment.
I like replaying old games, bu that feeling...

Maybe I'm just an unsatisfiable prick, or it's could just be that I've lost any concrete interest for pokemon, I guess...
Nah; you are just one of the victims of @Registration 's observation of people keeping wi the vanilla plus hacks.
I would think tha the development of Polished Crystal would encourage the development of hacks that are to your liking, but said observation has me pessimistic.

Justified in the sense more people could see your dewoked versions.
How would it cause interference if it's a Kiwi-approved list of pokemon rom hacks that people ITT think are neat? Woke or otherwise.
You're overthinking my words, friend.

For postgame / competitive battles, I like to look for weird, dumb combos that force niche interactions. Like Petal Blizzard + Zebstrika with Sap Sipper in double battles, just so that I can use Zebstrika.
Wait for an opponent to use Spore and try to intercept it with good positioning? Nah, fuck that. Overcommit and build way too much of my team around one or two guys that I want to play with—that's the ticket. I just saw that Petal Blizzard counts as a wind move, so now I can pair it with my guys Shiftry and Brambleghast, too.
I had to check, but petal dance is not a wind move. I have that on a Lilligant, which has own tempo, so it can use it without getting confused.

Also, Trick Room is an absolute godsend for a lot of the Pokémon that I really like, since most of my favorites (and probably most of yours, too, statistically) are slower than the typical meta picks.
This may surprise you, but while many of my Pokémon are probably on the slower side, I don't have any in my roster with trick room. I tend to be averse to status moves that don't offer recovery because they take up an entire move slot, but I do love recovery moves.

The ROM Hack recommendation directory would simply be me suggesting hacks that I find interesting, even if they are not woke.

My dewoking hacks, which I can upload to the Dewokify Mods thread and other services that allow dewoking mods, are specifically aimed at removing woke content, even if the mod itself is mid, per what others have observed.

Not only am I not hankering towards fame, but mashing together the contents of the directory and the dewoked mods under the same thread would be mixing two separate purposes.

Finished platinum for the first time in years (my last playthoughs of Sinnoh were BDSP and DP 🤢🤮). These goobers were hard but also fun to use. Shout out to rock polish Rampardos.

Also the non-platinum sinnoh games probably clouded my opinions of SV thinking back on it, since I played SV after these two, and any other pokemon game is "good" when compared to DP and BDSP. Anyways it was great playing platinum again, like I said before, the changes to platinum from DP might be small on paper, but they really make the sinnoh experience that much better.

Anyways, I'm currently working on 100%-ing Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2. I hatched a shiny Pichu in Gold and I wanna use Stadium 1 to teach it surf so I can get a shiny surfing Raichu. I'm then gonna use Poké Transporter GB to get it up to Platinum or Black 2, ideally before the battery in my Gold cartridge dies.

Appropriately, I uploaded my latest build that has everything up to th end of March.
Sadly, Polished Crystal has gotten more woke and therefore needed more work fro me.

Pokopia has a fun little april fools day event on.

It's pretty simple. Most of the pokemon today will attract your attention to do an impression of other Pokemon you've got in the area. Any individual question can be a little bit tricky, because it's pulling from each pokemon's unique lines and it's not always easy to tell who said what, but there's enough distinct dialogue types that you'll pretty quickly see cases where, for example, your choices for a character whooooo taaaaaalks liiiiike thiiiiiis are Eevee and Slowpoke.

Get three questions right, and you get... a Wacky Inflatable Waving Arm Man, Sudowoodo edition!

If you miss the event, it's not a big deal. It costs 2 Rare Pokemetal to print one from a reference photo, which isn't super cheap but it's fine enough, so you can go to someone who has one and snap a photo pretty easily.

if the cartridge has a battery a la firered, you can switch it out I'm sure. I know I did with my firered cartridge and the internal clock functions again.

Not with Gameboy Color games. The battery powers both the clock AND the RAM chip. If the battery dies, the save file dies with it.

Stop making me want this game. I can't afford it.
So one fun feature about Pokopia is that it has inter-pokemon conversations. If two pokemon live in close enough procimity, certain combinations will strike up a conversation that you can then listen in to. A very common example is older parts of a line talking to younger parts of the same line - I happened upon one today about Ludicolo teaching Lotad to dance, and I've also seen Kricketot and Kricketune talk about how their vocal ranges change over time. But they can also be just random combinations, usually from habitats implied to be in the same town - for example Kricketune and Politoed have a conversation that is them 'singing' (sadly with no unique sound for this one hard-to-catch conversation, but I'm sure you can stick your head out your window on the right night above a pond to get a cricket and frog duet).

One of my personal favourites would have to be one I've currently only seen a video of, and I wish I could find it, between Flygon and Ninetales. They both start being catty bitches and giving backhanded compliments, it's great.
