I've heard that Cynthia's team in BDSP has perfect IVs and min-maxxed competitive EVs, and it's not even going to fucking matter when I get there.

You wanna laugh? She got that affection system that was forced on us since X&Y on her Garchomp
So you finally will take a taste of your own medicine
Too bad she is the only trainer in the entire franchise who got the memo

Good luck lol, have you seen the absolute state of the DS Pokemon market in 2026?
I just searched them up on Ebay and look at this absolute lunacy:

These niggers are demanding you pay over $100 for a cartridge. 14 years ago I got the full game + the Pokewalker in minty fresh condition for a fraction of that price.

Do you want a box to go with your cartridge? That'll be $180+, pay up.
I sailed the high seas for these games, I'd love to be able to get a physical cartridge to play in both my 2DS'es but I felt part of my soul leave my body when I paid 40€ for a beat up SoulSilver cartridge and that's not happening again.

BTW if there's any gen 6 or 7 game you want to buy do it now because the price is starting to go up.

That last segment is where people should pay attention to. If you’re emulating this shit or setting on a cargo containing the games Rudy’s style you don’t need to worry about it. Below is my assessment on gen 6 and 7 cartridges situation as it stands :

X&Y: this game is an incomplete mess and nothing changed about it. However, Three new factors have introduced themselves that may contribute in skyrocketing the prices at any moment
  • Nostalgia is one hell of a drug. People who grew up playing X&Y , I am so sorry if that’s you, will want to buy them again.
  • Legends ZA: since it’s a direct sequel to this trash, more and more people will be tempted to try them out. They are in for a big disappointment but that won’t change their temptation.
  • Soytubers being the cringe faggots that they are already attracting more eyes to X&Y with shit like “X&Y the misunderstood masterpiece”, “gen 6 is underrated” , “gamefreak did this detail” and so much more.

ORAS: a solid game in isolation unless if you did the critical mistake of comparing it to Emerald and what it should’ve been. Being THE definitive gen6 edition + more and more cartridges are apparently dying out, I am surprised the game didn’t skyrocket in price yet. Maybe because it’s an open region hence far more copies going around.

Sun and Moon: the very last game to worry about, this shit will stay dirt cheap for ages and I don’t see them flying off shelves thanks to the Ultra versions.

USUM: the prices have already increased for a while now and I am expecting it to get worse. This reminds me alot of BW2, both introduced at the very end of the system life cycle + people bashed them for their own reasoning THEN years later the demand increased suddenly thanks to 2020 fuckary. I noticed Ultra Moon is far more difficult to find for some reason.

Ice needs a rebalancing to actually benefit ice types, as it currently is, it's better for water mons than actual ice mons.
Ice as a type is almost universally handed out to mons with defensive spreads when it's atrocious defensively. We already have prime examples of what happens when it's allowed to be on offensive mons like Weavile, Mamoswine, GDarm, Iron Bundle, Baxcalibur, and Chien-Pao.
If GF had a problem with U-turn they would've nerfed it like they did with Sucker Punch, there's no need to make a weak type even weaker because of one move, especially when Volt Switch and Flip Turn exist.
Volt Switch and Flip Turn both have immunities. U Turn doesn't.

what if pocketmons had only four types
What, no Aether?
There is also the StarCraft way: no types. Except biological, mechanical, both, and neither. Usually moves work on all, but some only work on biological or mechanical types.

So for some examples, Pikachu could be biological, Porygon could be mechanical, Magneton could be both (they get eggs and aren't computer code), and Gastly could be neither.

TCG is all over the place with what Mons are OP because they can just give a pokemon like Meowth a strong ability like this, while not technically OP it will be in a good majority of decks coming up because there is no downside to playing it and it can win games by simply playing it to get another card that will win.

This is just rehashing lumineon v, which was heavily used as well when legal in standard. All of these bench-sitter 2 prize pokemon are good for one use, then you wind up with a liability for the rest of the game, so with cards like this you have to have some way to advance the game state or map out the remaining prizes. That said, it's funny to see people swaying away from fezandipiti ex after all of the wanking over how bad of a card it is or how it needs to cycle out already.

I always see playing Fez as such a huge liability, so much can just 1 shot it and people just let it sit on the bench the whole game where its so easy to map it out for a finishing 2 points especially with how much bench snipe with everyone running Dusknoirs and even more so with Mega Starmie next set. People with like 18 cards in their hand and put down a Fez is just lol.
Value is probably gonna go down even more once Iono is out of rotation as well, no hand distruption really going to hurt.

The meowth seems good as like a final card to just pull a bosses to win, There really isn't anything else id risk keeping it on bench for.

Did a Battle Test in Alpha Sapphire. Got "Normal" rank because losing to this one "Owner" guy who "obtained his 'mons on the black market" and had that Grass and Ghost type with Phantom Force and Trick Or Treat. And losing to a "free spirited but homeless" backpacker who had a Gyarados with Moxie and unusually high Special Defense (with Aqua Tail, Earthquake, Dragon Dance, and Rest... and that wake-up berry). Never got to see the other 'mons that backpacker guy had with him either.

The same people who’d use Marnie while being ahead even though they don’t need the shuffle and draws. Pokémon’s playerbase is extremely greedy for a game with as much unregulated search and card advantage. Dropping fez isn’t going to hurt when you already pack enough searches and draws. Even without access to research and Iono you still have plenty of ways of getting what you want.

I managed to witness someone picking through a bunch of those Pokemon day boxes at my local target to get the ones not bent or dinged. I’m reminded that people are actually retarded enough to try to scalp them. They reused the pikachu from twilight masquerade, which is stupid but not a surprise. Would’ve been funny to see them use the full art pikachu ex from ascended heroes that’s like $500 now.

A Starmie moveset that I went with in Gen 1 is Psychic, Surf, Thunderbolt, and Recover. Worked in Gen 1 and still works well in Gen 6.

Although in Gen 6 Thunderbolt could be replaced with Dazzling Gleam, which could allow a Starmie to take on the Dark and Dragon types.

When I played BDSP a few years ago, I only struggled against the elite four cuz I mainly used slower pokemon like torterra and gastrodon (and refused to use most of the underground pokemon to keep it truly faithful). The ONLY trainers I truly had trouble against were Lucian and Cynthia, and even then that was because I refused to use items. Imo BDSP teams should never be considered for a "hardest gyms in Pokemon" ranking or anything like that, because sure they have EVs and items, it doesn't matter if I'm 10-15 levels higher by just casually playing the game. At least you're up to the elite four and champion's levels by the time you make it to the league, which does make BDSP at least better than og DP imo. (BDSP is only the second worst pokemon game instead of the worst 🥳 🎉).

Oh please dear god no. If this is true....Oh boy. We're all getting Cease and Desist letters boys. Everyone's ISP is going to C&D EVERYONE. Lmao. I can't wait for the backlash when 2026 Nintendo goes after every Romhacker and every romhack.

Edit: Put in a more descriptive video.

“Leaked” my ass
It was “leaked” last year, the year before it and before the 2022 present.. fuck all was revealed
Also ad I said few pages ago, they are so afraid of people cloning/ RNG manip in the old games so they will give this a hard pass

I hope so dude but 2026 Nintendo is different. They tend to be dumb and hate their playerbase. So expect full scumbaggery. I expect each Gen to get its own fully priced $70 re-release exclusively on Switch 2. The original GB games will get put on a Gen Zero title with no Pokemon Home access. Or go to the Nintendo Online.
