Something I do not like is how "off" the faces of people look in pocketmons vidyas from Gen 9 on.

Dunno what it is exactly, it's this low contrast ugly tint? It can be seen in at least SV and ZA.

you can, if a mon is knocked out you can save while its dazed and once you reset it will be there still.
You can also hard reset by going to a pokecentre and healing then when you are on the title screen press x b up and down and it will place you back at that save, people have been using that for Donut reseting.

Basically every aspect of farming and hunting in this game is done by reseting, very invigorating gameplay.

SV has a really weird 3d art style. it's most noticeable when you compare the 2d concept art to the 3d models. for example, in 3d saguaro is cute and perfect but in 2d he has a weird, outlined muppet nose that makes me very sad

for the reasons that make it an attempt to integrate pokemon go fans- it's more focused on catching than battling, to the point that catching gives more exp than trainer battles. i also hate the catching system- good fucking luck grinding for the exp you need when you're in handheld mode because you like playing in bed!

eevee is cute and the leaf letter was the only good thing the game gave me

i also just don't really like kanto. respect, yes. would indulge in? no.

Phantasmal Flames is the most recent set, the last one was Destined Rivals (the Team Rocket-themed one), and we're going to get another special set called Ascended Heroes in late January.

If you want shit at MSRP you have to follow online restock trackers on social media and have a bit of luck, the only way you'll ever find any products in stores is if you get lucky and find a store that was recently restocked or you make do with low-demand products like the Battle Academy boxes.

As far as the "hobby is completely out-of-reach for almost everybody" bit is concerned it's really only out-of-reach if you're dead-set on getting the rarest variants of certain chase cards from sealed products or the secondary market. Players are fine running the lowest-rarity cards (although they run into issues as far as travel and event costs are concerned) and casual collectors will collect what they like as long as the price is reasonable.

The real issue is that sneakerfags entered the hobby during the pandemic and never really left. Things also got worse for the TCG after Pocket came out which allowed the aforementioned fags to ramp up the degeneracy to levels that TPCi refuses to match for some ungodly reason.

I think the tower being defeated released the energy that was keeping him alive. It's implied that the curse keeping him alive was transferred to Lysandre, and now he's going to spend 3000 years roaming the earth.

First starter Pokemon. I like the other two but I hardly find myself picking them over Meganium. Chances are if you find a Pokemon you think has no fans, I might be one of them.
