Why would someone do those online threats, let alone carry ou those threats? People will unambiguously benefit from his videos.

I skimmed through the replies quickly, some commentors claimed he is faking it / it was an accident of sort and he absolutely didn’t take it well at all.
I will read more later and see if there’s anything substantiated.

How can the Porygon 'mons have a weight if they're 3DCG somehow existing outside of simulation?
They were made real & given physical form through the power of friendship.
If you ever stop loving them and you release them, then they stop being real and their weight disappears with them. Y-you wouldn't do that, would you?

'The Kiwi Farms released me because I was a hambeast!'
/looks exactly the same other Porygon mon do/

Why even have Resistance in the newer TCG if 'mons seem to never have it?

For examples, Sandshrew doesn't have a Lightning resistance anymore, Dragonite doesn't have a Fighting resistance anymore, Porygon doesn't have Psychic resistance anymore...

I'm still hopeful for a, "cured" version of it, too.
So Porygon 3?

Don't forget the lesbian in Silph Co.

I don't know if there are many more instances of this. I lost interest in the hack when I discovered how linear they made Kanto.
I fixed this.
I nitially thought about giving her different dialogue and wondered what she would say.
However, I decided tha th easier option would be replacing her with a male Pokéfan. The clash of appearances between the Pokéfan d the receptionist add humour and character, anyways.

I do want to know though, for Gen III, is it preferable to play Emerald or ORAS? I know for Gen II, I'll play HGSS, and for Gen IV, I'll play Platinum since I heard BDSP is a downgrade compared to it, but I don't know if ORAS made any enhancements or additions over Emerald.
Emerald is better but ORAS is still pretty good, I replayed it recently and I really enjoyed the reimagining of hoenn + QOL features. Def try ORAS if you check out the 3DS games.

Do not touch a non-platinum sinnoh game (DP and BDSP) with a 10 foot pole. 50 Or so extra pokemon in the platinum dex may not seem like a lot, but when you consider that most of the added families are gen 4 evo ones like ralts or rhydon, it does a lot of variety, though the early game is mostly the same.
The janky and unbalanced parts of Colosseum and XD - and all older Pokemon games - is part of the charm. The main thing is whether you have fun. I went back to replay Colosseum in 2019 and had more fun with it than USUM.
That's a common defence for the newer games I've seen pretty often, that they have better QOL, like with the people that defended BDSP. I mean sure they technically do and also technically run better too, but that's because they are newer games so it's expected to do that. And even then, a lot of the newer games run poorly depending on the area and do miss a lot of core features previous games were expected to have, like SV not even having a battle tower clone.

Shit, that would be cool for Z, since it's got a virus. I'm still hopeful for a, "cured" version of it, too.
Chances are that it's 'cured' version is just Porygon2; there's only a very mild difference between them total stats-wise, and it's body is just a rearrangement of 2's.

Checking Bulbapedia for the item descriptions, and Porygon z's dex entries, it appears like it was official... But it was just a peripheral thing, to allow it to, "travel through alien dimensions."
It's not official.

The description for the Dubious Disc makes it pretty clear this isn't an official product, saying it's producer is unknown:

Which implies it's either not from Silph Co, or was leaked and released through other means.

Z's meant to be a poorly modded 'Mon, someone trying to add new logic that would allow it to transform without really understanding the full mechanics. It's basically a bootleg that's gotten too big for the original developers to deal with.

...Looking at it now, I wonder if Necrozma's meant to be retroactively added as the inspiration. There's noticeable similarities in their rearrangements - their heads turn upside down, and their legs become arms - and 'Alien Dimensions' is a pretty good way to describe any place the Ultra Beasts come from.

It's a balance lever. Having poor meta resists and weaknesses can doom otherwise good designs into irrelevance and make certain matchups worse than they should reasonably be. Generally TCG designers want to limit the amount of unavoidable elements you can't control before you sit down to play. Having 60/40 matchups for meta decks is fine but that skew should preferably be expressed in gameplay and not just printed onto the cards. Weaknesses work a lot better in the actual games since your team is better when it's varied. A TCG deck becomes worse as you stray from one consistent strategy.

Gonna start something that I wanted to do for a long time in my manga reading career: finally read the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl manga. It is 8 volumes long, being one of the longer titles besides Pokémon Special. I did read almost all the other ones translated into english, so this may be fine. I expect a very kodomoesque adaptation from it, not like the arcs from Special, but maybe I will find a gem like Samus and Joey.

Sure, but no one was arguing that XD cut features from Colosseum, or was praising XD or Colosseum for having a better QOL compared to the Gen 3 games.

The only arguments were being made was balancing, which is totally arbitrary given they're single-player games, and the visuals, which I would disagree with even if it weren't also just a personal opinion you'd be hard-pressed to find elsewhere. The only decent point I saw was the tendency of Shadow Pokemon to knock themselves out with recoil, which is definitely worse in Colosseum than XD given how they handled Shadow moves and there being no way to have a second chance for some mons.

graphics are good enough to serve their purpose of presenting the franchise's style
It makes the Switch look like a fucking joke. You would think a franchise that makes so much money could make the game look like the bare minimum of what is expected from the Switch rather than something that looks worse than a PS2 game from 2005 by a tiny studio that are both expected to release games every year and leashed by EA of all companies.

Finishead reading the first volume, my first impressions are positive. It isn't a straight up adaptation of the game story so far. Hareta is basically a jungle boy who lived with Pokémon and can understand them, Mitsumi is an adult/teenage assistant that travels with him and helps him with matters regarding the human side of the adventure. Jun and Hareta never met, so their rivalry started after they met earlier, not being like the childhood friends in the game.

The duo objective is to capture Dialga, no reason stated so far, but here, check this professor Rowan parenting advise:

Hareta is initially very on hands with Pokemon, fighting in himself like a jungle boy. As for the fights, it really reminds me of the early anime fights where they would also use terrain to their advantage and creating combos like for example Piplup using an airborn peck. They also use game itens like awakenings and berries and pokemon abilities like Torrent.
1000048891.png

Hareta is depicted as a child but Mitsumi and Jun have the same height, not sure if they are the same age or Hareta is just a manlet. But here, Jun trying to catch other stuff rather than Pokemon.
1000048895.png

And something that always should be in a pokemon story, some pokemon on human violence because it is funny.
1000048896.png

There is a running gag that Hareta always throws Piplup's pokeball very hard be it far away or in strange situations, his first usage of Piplup's pokeball was with his teeth inside his own mouth.

So far with the first volume, it is quite the usual corocoro manga, if continues like this, it will be an alright adventure/read

It's a better read than the DP manga adaption, it's very charming and the characters wind up having a surprising amount of depth. Without trying to spoil any plot points, don't assume all the characters are around the same age because their designs are based on Dawn/Lucas/Barry (and yes Hareta is a manlet).
