I picked Digimon World 2 because I played it to completion recently (It does suck, even at 5X speed) and it was the first that came to mind. You picked Digimon world 2 knowing it's a bad game that can't be defended.

This is what Gen V defenders sound like.
If you genuinely believe the BW story impedes the gameplay you probably don't have the attention span to actually judge what makes a good story. Then the story shouldn't be getting in the way of the gameplay
Does TPC just have a fanart folder lying around? How does something like this even happen in the first place?Traced-over fanart. TCPI put out a statement claiming they'd provided their artist with "incorrect materials as official documents" and actually pulled the artwork before the set had even launched.
It's unfortunately a pretty common thing when it comes to Japanese Ips, because this happened with Dragon Ball thanks to Toyotaro being caught using references for marvel as poses for the Dragon Ball super manga.Does TPC just have a fanart folder lying around? It's kinda like that time when Sumo Digital accidentally used fanart in Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing and they had to patch it out.
Dude was locked in a room with abused pokemon for friends. He probably sees the balls the same way he sees his room.I'm not saying N is right, I'm just explaining his perspective. He believes having Pokemon inside Poke Balls is inherently cruel, so he releases them right after.
I'm fine with the monkeys. I don't particularly like them, but I find the people who hate them to be really autistic in their hate for them as they generally can't give a good reason for the intense dislike except that they "waste slots" in the Pokedex, which is an even stupider argument to make for Pokemon than it is for fighting games.Since we're talking about generation 5, why do people think of the elemental monkeys?
They are the only Pokemon to have effectively gone the entire switch One generation without so much as a mention until ZA.
Even I didn't used to be fond of them, I almost always have them with me whenever I do replay BW, and found out from a Japanese friend that they're kind of supposed to be Gag mons.
The designs of their evolved forms imply that the three Pokémon failed in their assigned Wise Monkey roles. Simisage is patterned after Yankiis, who are known to be foul-mouthed and rude. Simisear's design is based on a bosozoku, who make loud noise by removing the mufflers on their motorcycles. Simipour is modeled after a kogal, who value their appearance more than anything else.
I found them annoying as a kid, because I didn't like the handholding the game did by making you catch one to use in the gym. I was in high school, and I knew my type matchups damnit.Since we're talking about generation 5, why do people think of the elemental monkeys?
Max content was mean for endgame, but this should have been accessed when you hit the 40s, not level 13. At this point of the game, we should be seeing Pokemon with Max abilities in the wild without a p2w mechanic (Word is Eternamax might make Max Pokemon show up). Some new players are going to take a while to learn how to farm stardust and the candies you need to build Pokemon. Remote max battles should have been available from day-one because players had problems finding people to participate in Max battles. Even when I found people to do Max battles with, they're so demanding with coordination (good luck coordinating a group of 40) and knowing what ideal moves you want the bosses to have (You can do with legendary max fights, not Gmaxes). The worst max experience I had was with Entei because nobody in my group leveled their Pokemon, and the event was so unorganized. the 400+ Cinderace Max fight at GoFest was...something (It nuked more than half of the people doing it at GoFest). I really have a bad feeling about Eternatus.Agreed, tying max particles to battle entry and upgrading pokemoms was DUMB but not as dumb as the amount of candies and XL candies required to upgrade moves which whales over the Silphroad will say it's fine since after all the events and community days you should have a bajillion candies (nevermind that for years they told you to just spend the candy and XL candy is scarce and a"recent" addition to the game).
As for the max raids themselves, for a long time I didn't bother with them since the cost of entry was steep (and last year the soft cap and daily particles were lower)
I recall being invited (remotely) to one of the gigantamax galar starters raids and seeing something like 30 or 40 people in the lobby, thought to myself "should be easy with this many people". I think we did less than 1/4 of the boss's hp bar before everyone got wiped out,I was soured on the concept again.
Gave them another chance during go fest since I could just use the sword/shield dogs which I was gonna power up anyways and ended up liking them. Turns out I was going the wrong way about getting my pokemon ready for them: often You only need to unlock and upgrade a single move to lvl2 and your party should consist of 1 attacker and two tanks/healers, mind you this is totally alien to someone used to normal raids where DPS is king and everything else takes a backseat.
It is a nice change of pace from normal raids and I like the fact that defensive pokemon finally have an use in pve content but the cost of entry is absolutely horrendous, they really need to decrease candy costs.
And he doubled down by screeching how criticizing Mega Dragonite might be Muh Soggy Knee.I always report videos that have gay shit in the thumb nail or title, make sure everyone reading this goes to the video reports it for Sexual content and write about how it's about exposing kids to sex, it's a kids' game and faggot shit should never have anything to do with it.
I actually like how goofy and dumb they are. Simipour in particular is my favourite out of the 3 (panpour gets scald in the mid 20s, need I say more) and for some reason all 3 of them has pretty solid speed and attacking stats for a playthrough + wide movepoolSince we're talking about generation 5, why do people think of the elemental monkeys?
Yup, according to the leak TPC feared being accused of plagiarism so the design was scrapped and could explain why there has not been a new eeveelution since. Was a Flying-typ Eeveelution cancelled because the design was very similar to a fan design?
I actually wish the Pokemon company and Nintendo did more with them because it felt like they were designed to be mascots early in generation 5 but plans for that were shelved.I actually like how goofy and dumb they are. Strawman argument. Everyone admits the story is bad but I'm the problem if I would rather have no story over a bad story? BW supporters must have played the game as actual children and hold the nostalgia for their first pokemon games. If you genuinely believe the BW story impedes the gameplay you probably don't have the attention span to actually judge what makes a good story.
Same pokemon with different elements is a good idea. A monkey or Eevee style trio in games would be welcome. Give players a choice of what they get so they're making a choice to evolve not just catching what's available.Since we're talking about generation 5, why do people think of the elemental monkeys?
No one did. Something not being amazing doesn't make it bad. Writing and the quality of writing is not a binary or an equation. I'm not going to call the writing in any rpg bad just because it's not as good as Kotor 2 or New Vegas. The closest you've gotten to other people saying the story is bad here is an argument the writing is not as good as it's held up as.Everyone admits the story is bad
I think it's a sin that they are effectively useless in competitive due to them having 1 evo rather than 2. They are essentially stuck as a second stage starter Pokemon, so not only are they less powerful but Eviolite doesn't work on them. Shame, as I like their designs, but they are completely pointless outside of single player.Since we're talking about generation 5, why do people think of the elemental monkeys?

My first White playhtru had Simipour as one of my aces, it's in late level 70s as well. Same with a Dewgong I transferred all the way from FireRed, shame you can only really use these Pokemon to their full potential in the campaign as they simply cannot do anything useful on a competitive level.I actually like how goofy and dumb they are. Gale of Darkness gives you an Eevee as a starter and you can get any of the 5 eevolutions early on in the game if you want(that includes special stones not re-introduced since to get an Umbreon or Espeon if you want). Colosseum did something similar by having Umbreon and Espeon be your actual starters, but early on you have a choice of fighting one of three special Cipher peons who each has one of the Johto starters. You fight the ones you missed later on in the game, with the last one appearing all the way at the end.Same pokemon with different elements is a good idea. A monkey or Eevee style trio in games would be welcome. Give players a choice of what they get so they're making a choice to evolve not just catching what's available.
