I confused it for secret power apparently. Its been forever since I last attempted to make a secret base in RSE.

What hype were you even talking about!?I confused it for secret power apparently. Its been forever since I last attempted to make a secret base in RSE.
The advertising put hype into secret power, because it was technically a field move. You used it outside of battle to find secret bases and stuff. What hype were you even talking about!?
WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY!?
God, that mechanic sucked. And they forced it down your throat in ORAS, too.The advertising put hype into secret power, because it was technically a field move. You used it outside of battle to find secret bases and stuff.
To be fair, I appreciated the secret bases more in ORAS than in regular RSE for the simple fact that Serebii(dot)net had a couple of them where they were filled with nothing but Blissey battles that could give you insane amounts of XP. At least with the internet it allowed you to use the "play/trade together" features that these games were originally intended for. Couldn't really do that in RSE if you were a loner.God, that mechanic sucked. And they forced it down your throat in ORAS, too.
Trigger's PC lets you create custom made Secret Bases from scratch if you have other RSE saves, since it imports that trainer and their team + their secret base into your game. I used the program to basically give myself EV training "gyms", altho the levels are uneven so this isn't as fun as I was hoping for. One trainer has Pokemon up to lv50, others have 30-50 levels then there is a lv70-100 legendary out of nowhere due to me picking max EV Pokemon to maximize training. I've got Pokerus too so I am absolutely set, if I have time I will check if I can make the levels more equal with what Pokemon I have. I don't want to gen or change levels of any Pokemon, otherwise I would have just done that.To be fair, I appreciated the secret bases more in ORAS than in regular RSE for the simple fact that Serebii(dot)net had a couple of them where they were filled with nothing but Blissey battles that could give you insane amounts of XP. I'm going to be honest: given the leaker's general behavior, I expect him to show up again after Z-A releases and shit out some behind-the-scenes stuff. After that, though, yeah it's probably over for real. He likes attention, but I don't think he'll be around long enough to share Gen 10 stuff (nor do I think he'd have the attention span to remember to do so when the time comes).I think we can safely say the leaks are over.
Don't count on it, people still haven't gone over the 2020 leaks. Unfortunately, a lot of stuff found isn't documented, TCRF for example is a very incomplete site with some of the more obscure facts and content that you have to dig for elsewhere. The only places which have research going on anymore are individual youtube channels and discord servers, and these vary game by game. Don't expect the TCRF page to be updated for much longer, you will have to do that yourself or wait for a dedicated /vp/ thread again. What I'm more interested in is a year or two from now, when people have presumably combed through a lot of the leak's materials and sorted out the interesting stuff from the fluff. We'll probably hear of minor developments relating to the leaks for months if not years given its enormous size (and the autism of the fanbase). I'm looking forward to it. Especially those inter-office work emails.
lol, I forgot TCRF even had a page.Don't expect the TCRF page to be updated for much longer, you will have to do that yourself or wait for a dedicated /vp/ thread again.
Anyone can download the leaks, but fewer people actually bother looking into them. Even less ever document their findings. On /ppg/, towards the end you had one or two people dumbing what they found, translations and all, while the rest didn't do much else. Anyone autistic enough to look thru this massive mountain of content is on discord, leaking "exclusive' findings there, or has a youtube channel you have never heard of and one that you will never find thanks to Youtube's dogshit algorithms that favor paid/favored channels first and foremost. What you see on TCRF are incomplete scraps, an eternal WIP that never gets finished. This is pretty much as best as it's gonna get, until some influencer wants to make a quick buck and make one of those videos that are the equivalent of them reading bulbapedia for 10 minutes while royalty free music plays in the background.lol, I forgot TCRF even had a page.
anyways, the 2020 leaks didn't have enormous media outlets reporting on that shit. It also didn't have hooks like canon rape fanfics and schizophrenic old Legendary lore to get people interested. I think we'll get to learn more about the Teraleak than we did the 2020 leaks just due to interest and intense fanbase autism, but it'll look like less in proportion. Say like 50GB of the Teraleak's 1TB+ vs 10GB of the 2020 leak's 100GB, as completely fictional example.
You neglect to mention the Twitter autists interested in this kind of archival like Lewtwo and his small band of compatriots. I think we'll see some stuff from places like that moreso than we will any Discord (for obvious reasons).Anyone autistic enough to look thru this massive mountain of content is on discord, leaking "exclusive' findings there, or has a youtube channel you have never heard of and one that you will never find thanks to Youtube's dogshit algorithms that favor paid/favored channels first and foremost.
You can't archive anything significant on Twitter by the nature of how the platform works, and that's the biggest problem with these autists: It's hard to get them to post anything on other sites, so best you can do is manually do it yourself. All I am saying is, don't look for anything more than what we've seen on /vp/ during the last days of the proto general: One or two people digging thru the mountain of content out of curiosity, with not much in a way of support from others. Any serious progress will only be found on discord channels that you will never have access to, just like all these builds we don't even know about rotting away on some tranny's hard drive because they love the attention it's exclusivity gets. You neglect to mention the Twitter autists interested in this kind of archival like Lewtwo and his small band of compatriots. Yes, dumbass, I meant people doing archival work elsewhere but posting about it on Twitter. I am really not sure why you're so determined to be doomer about this. It's not like the fans have anything better to do with their lives given the gap year. You can't archive anything significant on Twitter by the nature of how the platform works, and that's the biggest problem with these autists
Expecting anything from twitter niggers is a very bad idea. Everything they do, they do it for asspats, otherwise they would just archive the info or make a video about it like a normal human being. This is why I don't trust the likes of Helix Chamber, altho at least they have their own site to backup info to. Please read my shit before replying to it. Of course they do it for asspats, that's the entire reason I'm expecting more things from this leak. There's no way that attention whores will just ignore the infamous terabyte of info that gave us all the wild folk tales about Pokémon rape after seeing that shit reach mainstream news coverage. I find it stupidly pessimistic to believe that there isn't a single soul currently scouring the leak's archives for more crazy shit like that and posting whatever seems vaguely interesting in the meantime in the offchance that he gets more leak-related asspats for it.Expecting anything from twitter niggers is a very bad idea. Problem with these kinds of people is that they're more likely to just make shit up and get the dipshits in the community to pass it off as truth. Perfect example would have been the early Black White trainer pictures, which ended up being a hoax made by a tranny for, you guessed it...asspats and attention, and it took people days to figure that one out. I am not relying on Twitter niggers to archive shit. I am somewhat expecting Twitter niggers to bring more minor shit to the forefront as consequence of most Twitter niggers being attention-addicted autists with too much time on their hands and desiring asspats for the most minor of discoveries, especially people like Lewtwo whose entire "twitter careers" consist of posting Pokémon "lost media" and overreacting to minor discoveries for attention.
See, that's actually a fair point, and one I did not consider.Problem with these kinds of people is that they're more likely to just make shit up and get the dipshits in the community to pass it off as truth. With this leak in particular, rule of thumb is to always ask for a filepath. Since we actually have access to the leaks themselves, anyone doing research should provide you with document name and the folder name, where you can double check the content for yourself. if they don't provide it, just assume it's fake.See, that's actually a fair point, and one I did not consider.
Hm. Maybe Twitter niggers will grow enough of a brain to copy /ppg/'s insistence on clarifying file paths before taking anything as truth, but... I'm not counting on it, I guess.
If I'm not mistaken you could get other people's bases with online qr codes. To be fair, I appreciated the secret bases more in ORAS than in regular RSE for the simple fact that Serebii(dot)net had a couple of them where they were filled with nothing but Blissey battles that could give you insane amounts of XP. I used to dislike shiny humans because I thought the black was a weird choice. Then I saw a reddit post about how they are mostly peaceful. I love shiny humans now.![]()
