The original game does call them GOLD TEETH, but yeah it's weird to have an entire set made out of gold.I always thought it was a single gold tooth, it's a set of dentures? The Safari Warden was a rapper?

Why is that weird? There is nuggets of gold everywhere in this universe. You could easily mint some dentures made out of them, just pay some 10 year old 5000 poke-yen for one.The original game does call them GOLD TEETH, but yeah it's weird to have an entire set made out of gold.
Now you mention it, it is funny how iron and calcium are almost as valuable as gold in the Pokémon universe. It makes me wonder if there are any commonplace materials that are super rare and valuable in the Poké-verse.Why is that weird? There is nuggets of gold everywhere in this universe. Anyone currently hunting any shiny pokémon? I'm currently soft resetting for a Torchic in Ruby.
The separate pic of the syringe item in the spoiler has the Japanese name for Antidote so that makes a bit more sense.
You didn’t have any Poké Balls on you at the time, huh?View attachment 6586191
If you know, you know.
I'm soft resetting the starter, it's not possible to have any Poké Balls at this stage of the game. You didn’t have any Poké Balls on you at the time, huh?
Holy shit, I've been meaning to do some watercolor tests to try and replicate the Sugimori look, and the Prof Oak, and Gary art gave me a big clue. Some more Gen 1&2 HD art
As someone who tried making it work for years, I can confirm that this is probably the shittiest Gen 2 Pokemon and one of the worst Pokemon overall. It does nothing in competitive and it does nothing even in the story mode. Wasted concept, should have made it a bug/fighting and amped it's physical attack so at the very least it would have a niche.
That high SpD is a trap, it doesn't matter with it's paper thin Physical Defense. What's one of the most common moves in competitive? Oh that's right, Rock Slide. Even if it could act as a special wall against some unprepared Pokemon that doesn't have an ice/electric/fire move, it can't do anything. At all, unless you count setting up screens as offense.
So the mediocre design for Mega Jynx was scrapped for the dumbest of reasons, and so were many many other changes. The changes to gen 7 and the new evolutions were genuinely interesting to see, I wonder why they scrapped them.
I think Nintendo wants to avoid religious symbols. Can the Vatican really sue Game Freak because some haunted keys look too much like a symbol they use?
The Zebstrika cop is so cool, and I'm pissed it was cut.Fresh concept art for Sun/Moon
Never played sun/moon but these concept arts are all Very cool for meThe Zebstrika cop is so cool, and I'm pissed it was cut.
Sucks how much influence the "politically correct" -- and later SJWs -- of the West have gotten over pocketmons.Gamefreak got some weird ideas of how they justify their censorship
This isn't an old phenomenon, even an episode of SM got banned for the same reason: Ash dressed as an ape, and this was apparently not culturally appropriate for the West, so that episode never came over here. It's clear that most devs working on Pokemon games checked out and are just going there for a paycheck, they either can't get an authorization to do something cool they want to do, even if it will they will censor it anyways, and even if the stars align then there is no time to make it work. All you can do is the bare minimal and fill it to poz without complaining about it.Like at least one episode of the old anime was banned, because of some "cultural critic" complaining about Jynx.
