Been compiling some of the leaked lore docs /vp/ translated, but there is so many of them

Why they wrote so much about characters you meet once and only battle them for 5-10 minutes tops with how easy the games are is beyond me. Not like lore for the mute main characters is used either.
Note how Candice in DPP was originally the 6th gym leader, not 7th
 
Who is that Kiwi with that avatar of the protags from FRLG and posts pics of them in profile page? I think he'd (?) like these leaks.
 
So.. they are making a demake of new ganea to GBC... They are working on the sprites, pretty cool stuff.

Also as I play Sacred Gold... Jesus I fucking hate Kanto so much and I really don't care about Johto. Johto feels very undercooked, even with this modified version adding new stuff.

I feel that the feeling of adventure just started at hoenn, sinnoh was alright and BW was kinda linear but the routes were good, then BW2 fixed it all.

Johto feels kanto 1.5 even in the remakes. And the worse part is that I played the Silver sequel not long ago and I didn't feel this way, so there must be something with the vanilla version

Apparently these were 5 second minigames for a scrapped TCG that was planned to release in 2019.

Something I've noticed is that there would have been a big focus on solar and wind energy in Kalos, probably a reference to how green EU likes to be. Shame we never got to see that, hell we barely even got the Energy Plant in the game as is.

Most normal studios wouldn’t though, that’s why things get scrapped. They look at stuff and go ‘we don’t have time, is it worth it bringing on more people to do this? No, it isn’t.’ And then that as you note usually gets followed up with ‘we like the core idea, can we still use that somehow?’

So basically TPCi intended to make thier own WarioWare clone instead of making some microgames to put into a WarioWare game and now they're making a Splatoon Clone for the same system that has 2 Splatoon games on it? Are they trying to cannibalize their own sales with other Nintendo properties at this rate?

Look, you clearly don't know what you're talking about and I am busy with other things right now, so I won't argue with you. Most studios aren't retarded(or as retarded) as GF and TPCi, they tend to make good games once in a while. There is zero excuses for their decisions, be it for not remastering the superior GC titles or cancelling something like this but giving green light to SV in the state it released in. Monster Hunter Pokemon game would print an entire bank, it doesn't matter if it would take a year, two, three or more it would get released one way or another by any other normal studio if they were in charge, especially since even these early builds already show promise. If they don't have the people, hire more, you're the most successful entertainment franchise in the world and can afford it. There is no excuses, Gamefreak apologists are the dumbest docile nigger cattle on the planet and that's the truth.
PLA is likely the last remnant of that concept and Z-A will probably copy even more of their homework, at least now we will know if they do. There is no other way to put this, we were simply robbed.

I have no clue what TPCi is thinking, only that I don't really think that Warioware/TCG clone would have gone anywhere. We know too little about that Splatoon clone but it's not something I am interested in, I just want that MonHun game already. Knowing that we are doomed to have SV1.5 for Gen 10 is infuriating when we now know there was something much better in the works.

There is so much stuff being posted that I forgot to post a few things.

Why Brock is here, let alone in what looks like his Anime getup, is beyond me. One of the less weird things about PLA betas so far.
I missed a few lore documents, there is probably more I haven't seen since these docs just keep getting dropped

I do. Game companies tend to scrap a lot of good stuff frequently due to money and time. As for SV, considering they slowed down for Gen 10, I feel like they might have been forced to release it

That’s not how game dev works. You don’t just make every game that shows promise. The devs can’t. Studios that try to do that eventually balloon and start falting under their own scope.. if you are doing such a thing, it’s all you are working and you are ignoring all time constraints. And the fact that you have 0 money. It’s not a normal studio that can do that.

The issue is GF is not such a studio.

God knows why TOC and GF can’t do that or won’t. Zelda is now known for being announced early and then the director going ‘It will be done when it’s done, prob 6 years, not two’ and just burning al the money they need to.

Maybe if the games and anime had connections to each other but ever since 7 and especially 8, they clearly don’t.

Heck a longer 4 to maybe 5 year dev cycle if not 7 would make it so they don’t actually run out of Pokemon design ideas.
 
This just dropped, scratchpad for DP. Only Gen 1-2 Pokemon leaked and not much has been annotated, so it's best you just take a look for yourselves
These scratchpads are a goldmine of new info, can't wait till they drop ones for Gen 4 Pokemon

The XY page also has an interesting edit, apparently just like Xerneas was originally a Dark type, Yveltal a Fairy type. The typings got switched for the two box legendaries for some reason, not sure if it was a mistake or a case of different designs yet. There is new discoveries for Gen 7 but unfortunately nothing interesting, not with how little development builds we got anyways.
I have no clue how this got mixed in with the rest of the leaks, but apparently there is even new Smash Bros info within this article
I wonder what daddy Nintendo thinks of this. We're now getting other franchises other than Pokemon caught in the cross fire.

Did they remove all gender differences in the final game/other projects?

I remember that some were introduced in gen 4
